Fantastic work guys! Any news on Nick Goodall? I've had a look through the thread, can't see if he's been eliminated or not though. Keep up the good work. Smiley

This whole event was fantastic! Some of the best TV poker I've seen. Great final to boot, well done Martin Wendt on your deserved victory.

Congrats Mike on your win! I was actually watching your table on the Saturday for good few hours, and was really impressed. I told everyone I thought you would win. I made a $100 side bet that you would outlast Romanello at the final table with a mate, easy money! Excellent effort! Might see you at Manchester in the next GUKPT.

Excellent updates Jen and Snoop! I saw you wandering about at the event, I didn't realise how hard a job it is trying to keep track, but fantastic effort, and much appreciated by everyone.

Many thanks - we are delighted that people are enjoying following this series of tournaments, I imagine they're not bad to play and generally full of reportable action. Except for the last two hours.

Yeh they're very enjoyable from my one and only experience, but Im sure I'll be in a couple more atleast. I wanna go to bed, hope someone does something rash soon! But can't see it! I imagine the crowd is a bit bored also around the table?

Play has really slowed up. There's a lot of table talk, but it's not quite as entertaining as before and has unfortunately become slightly tedious.

Got any good jokes then?

2 Chimpanzee's get in the bath, and one goes 'ahh eee ahh ooo ahhh', and the other says 'well get out if it's too hot then'.

Ahhh that is appauling?! Always makes me chuclke though.

Meanwhile for Elliot, who btw has an incredible memory for hands he's played, blinds, positions, stack sizes etc.  said he was 'card dead' at the final table said he'd played mostly 'small ball' for the tournament, had enjoyed it and should've playerd his final hand differently.

I was sat with Elliott for 3 hours on the first day, rekwob he's known around on the net, if you do a google search you'll find him. He pushed on me with a flush draw in the first hour! So I doubt he played too much 'small ball', very quiet guy, but a good player, can understand why he succeeds in the game. I actually tipped him or the greco to win last night when down to 3 tables, hopefully my latter prediction will be correct (I railed greco's table for couple hours yesterday, and he played very well. He does seem to get a little frustrated though, that would be one thing I picked up on, but has a good understanding of everything, and really has come on since I last saw him in a TV tourn.

he did mention that hand, but then, he said he got moved to a table on day one, where there were a lot of big stacks and he at the time had around 15-20k, he found aces vs kings, doubled up and then played it pretty tight.

Ah, that would make sense. It's cos I had check-raised a couple of times I guess why he pushed. I laid down by 96o on the ,4h,3s flop, I was mega surprised when he pushed tho! I folded, and he showed the Q of spades quickly. He also commented on a hand where he said 'I know that guy doesn't have anything'. Expect to see him at a few finals in future.

Although he qualified with PokerStars for last year’s WSOP, he hasn’t played many live tourneys: he finds them way too slow – and he hates having to stack his chips.

Hopefully John can take them off him! GL John.

Ir eckon Jon must be getting fed up with Vincent.  Every time Jon makes a raise he is re-raised by vince.  I wonder if he thinks he is being bullied?  But we know watching the TV that vince is raising with decent hands.  I can see fireworks before the next commercial.

Probably, but Jon doesn't look the sort to allow his head to explode from frustration at this type of thing.  Although that would make amazing TV.

You should see some of the chats we have on msn! He knows to keep it cool today tho!
