*sigh*

A fair few times i should have taken heed and "thought twice" over the years though!

What on earth about sex and relationship education might be inappropriate to teach at a primary school? Hmm, let me think about that one, you know I can't come up with a single thing! Let's get all the pictures and the horror stories out!

Don't read Brave New World...

Quote from: Aldous Huxley
For a very long period before the time of Our Ford, and even for some generations afterwards, erotic play between children had been regarded as abnormal (there was a roar of laughter); and not only abnormal, actually immoral (no!): and had therefore been rigorously suppressed.

Nice! I've yet to clock an "official" sub 25m 5k, although Strava reckons i just about managed it a month or two back Smiley

The most rewarding thing for me in the last couple of years has been seeing my kids get involved in Park Run. Predominantly the Junior 2k runs, but the eldest who is just coming up 9 has now done a few of the main 5k's. A bit worried about the trajectory of when he'll be beating me now!

ooh.  Konta won again.  This time beating Vondrousova, who has been on fire this year (and started favourite).   I had a bet on Konta for the French Open the other day.  I think there is still some 80/1 e/w about, and this result should put her in the seeds.

Thanks for this. Remembered i stuck a fiver on at 100/1 too so decent sweat Smiley

Drifting off topic, but we used to do penalty “moves” in schoolboy rugby where you concealed the location of the ball until the last moment with multiple runners off a wall of several players with their backs to the opposition.

Never seen it happen in a senior amateur game, but seem to remember seeing a few random appearances in pro matches. Obv not very fashionable though.

Shocked it wasn’t Fog on the Tyne.

My immediate thought was the relegated teams from the final 1st Division season (which would be Luton & Notts County as above)

I think everyone, especially the card rooms, underestimate how much value the updates added.

Value in general enjoyment of a subset of players and spectators, or value in measurable ROI on the money spent?

Prove part 2 and i'm sure they'd be back in action! I suspect it was pitched based on fluffy assumptions a few times, but as the poker money train slowed down everyone was less willing to buy the story.

Eurosport commentator claimed Higgins is 2nd greatest player ever, behind Ronnie. Hendry & Davis at least you'd have to put above him right? Can see him in the pack with Higgins/White etc

So good this. Some insane escapes.

I grabbed a sample of 20k flat turf runners - 1083 races all 16+ runner handicaps.  I thought that the amended terms would generally be worse for punters, but that isn't really the case.

This was great, thanks for running the numbers

Durrant off the mark. Pretty much guarantees he will be in every major TV tournament already.

50/1 for the Worlds...

One more for poetry that value perhaps, but have chucked in some dodgy stats to go with it.

BF have a market for Ronnie's 1000th century (he's on 991) being a max. Obviously it's 147/1 because PR.

991 / 15 to date. Math math math = Noddy value ignoring anything around recency or opponents etc.

Was worth flicking a few quid at it just because it's a cool story to romanticise about Smiley
