As per the email I received on 8th May Look out for an email and a letter that will be sent in a few days time revealing if you are one of those lucky enough to be able to purchase tickets, and how to go about doing so. I've received neither of these yet. Apologies, my mistake. Just assumed everyone got the email but that the letter was reserved for other people. Sorry to hear no blondes got tickets.

People were sent a private password by post. Once you got that password, it was linked to your ticketmaster account and you had to provide confirmation of your the credit card associated with that account. It was a total pain in the ass but probably meant more hassle for touts. I managed to get 6 tickets for me and family, but i'm pretty sure they are all sold out now.

Rangers are not a great team just now but there's not a Rangers player I would swap for a Celtic player.
Personally, I think Boruc is better than McGregor (i know you dont agree) and long term, McManus is going to do better than Weir, maybe not next season, but over the next 5 years. I agree Nakamura drifts in and out of game from what I've seen but he makes enough contributions that i think he could get in the Rangers team - he was named player of the year! Rangers need to IMO get rid of Novo. He only ever plays when he wants a move or a contract renewal. Give him a one year deal and you might get something out of him. As for the rest of the Celtic and Rangers players, i think its pretty much a much of a muchness.

I think i understand you asking for a ruling as you genuinely believed the mucking rule stood even in showdowns and you can in no way be called a cheat as you asked for a ruling from the TD. How many cheats do you know ask a TD to check out a hand ruling unless the TD is in on it aswell!
I agree with King Poker - I think its a bit harsh to call him a cheat. In this situation i would have given the player the pot cause i dont like confrontation and i dont play at high enough stakes that i'm willing to get into an argument about a pot, BUT, in this situation i would have maybe have ruled the same as the TD. From the posts, its quite clear that i'm wrong in thinking that, but that doesnt make me a cheat - especially if i call over a TD to get a ruling. And when people talk about live rules and etiquette, remember we have a generation of net players who dont neccessarily know them.

Christian Bale best young actor in holllywood by a country mile. And he was born in wales!
He is a fanastic actor, but does he still come under the young category?? As I'm approaching my mid twenties (ish) I'm starting to think of people of 30-40 as young. It's psychological insulation. Know exactly what you mean. I've finally decided its unlikely i'm going to score the winner for Celtic in the Champions League Final. Its taken me to reach 26 before i decided that unless i really get cracking, its going to be tricky.

I can agree with what you say without agreeing with how you put it, can I not?
And I quoted many comments, not just your own. How do you know I was targeting yours?

i was just pointing out , with 3000 members , the main cardoom in one of the liveliest citys in Britain should be averaging more than 2-3 tables a night
I couldnt agree more with you. I think it is strange that between the Wabash, Cins and the riverboat, there are about 100 people each night in Glasgow playin live (obviously not including home games). There is a huge market out there that really shoud be tapped into and I agree that if Dave had been given full control, it is likely that Cins at least would be getting more than 30 people in their door most nights.

I think a forum is a great place to air one's views. If a person/club dont like that tough shit, either ignore it or prove them wrong.
Its just getting a bit tit-for-tat is it not. Hardly very constructive criticism or responese?

It started off as a slaggin of the current owners of the club. It then became a slaggin of the product provided by the club. I think it should be possible to distinguish between these two things. Unfortunately, things go on behind the scenes at hundreds of companies but it doesnt stop any of us using that companies products if we so desire - if we believe we are going to benefit from purchasing that product.
The purpose of this thread was to highlight the stuff going on at the club behind the scenes - not to criticise the poker side of the club. I think the two things sould be kept seperate. Otherwise it just detracts from Dave's orignal post.
