Very hard to update much yesterday so cliffs here. Had a reasonable table, not many known other than Natalia to my right. Had a bad start when I had my kk three bet: so I four bet to 2800 (at 50/100) and get two callers! The three bettor folds to my continuation but the villain calls; his big river bet was not being called on a aa low board. He claimed he flopped a small set to fill up. There followed a variety of winning small pots and losing the odd one, a 5 hour grind.. I run into another flopped set when I opt to make the call in the blinds with q9 hh to a small raise from a guy who had previously shown down k8 off from raising. Flop q94. the result is I lose 2/3 of my stack, as I can't place him on 44. Happy to keep grinding my now 28bb I find a reasonable spot to steal when there's an early raise and Natalia calls in position.  I opt to move all in my ak. She calls with 99 and I can't find either ace nor King so it's out for me.  Was fun so thanks Fraser et al and good luck !

Who?

Hi, I’m Sean Randall from Lincoln, regular live player and member on here for some time. I run my own business but play live as often as life allows.

Terms

I am looking to sell up to 50% of my action at todays rate of .80. Conveniently this equates to £2200 in English. I would like to sell as follows;

10%  = £220
5%    = £110
2.5% = £55

Payment by bank transfer only please. To be in my account by 5pm this Thursday the 17th November. Pm your interest and I will forward bank details.

General

Whilst I am fortunate to be off to the Caribbean I didn’t win a ticket to the main and the buy in is double my normal maximum entry. For this reason I would like to sell up to 50%.

I play an aggressive style but am experienced enough to adapt to circumstances I find myself in, and am not fazed by the best. I have played a fair few tournaments around this level including a high roller, the ISP Wembley etc. I am a competitive person that likes to win and am most comfortable with nice long clocks and structures. If the circumstances are right I will do my best to get there….  I promise to give this tournament my all, and will not be hungover or drinking during play!

Thanks for reading!

Smallprint

*Payouts will be made on return and within 3 working days of money reaching my account.
*I may try and qualify for this via satellite, this will not affect the stakes.

Would be better if rewards were paid for on line finishes and there not to be such vast chip stack differences going into the final. Also split the final prize pool 50/50 between individuals and teams. I  saw someone mention paying £20 (or similair) a head in a more level playing field final to increase the pool would work.

Also think the qualification level was too low, both for individuals (30K) and the team as a whole. A smaller final field for a one day event would work better imo, although  I appreicate that DTD will want to fill the venue.

This club has a nice good value hotel in its building and is right next to buses and tubes (3/4 stops to touristy stuff) There are loads of bars and shops within 5 minutes walk and the club is 24/7. Cash games every night. http://www.cardcasinoprague.cz/

Been there, done otherwise.... In the ukipt at Edinburgh I had exited the main and entered a side event. As I took my ticket to the floor to be seated he pointed me to Liv Boerees table and a spare seat matching my ticket number. I sat down, thought about it for a nano second, then removed myself promptly to explain the error. Cant think why anyone would think it acceptable/forgiveable to do othewise.

I touched on this problem before but it is getting more and more of an issue. If you time out whilst playing on pad/phone, it doesnt let you back in automatically, sometimes takes many hands before it lets you back in. If you log out whilst you are mid game (for whatever reason) you wont always get back in at all. I missed the whole of the last level of the gp day one as it didnt recognise that I was in a game when i logged on, having had to transfer from phone to pad.
