Nice one Trigg on 10k posts.

Definitely one of the few guys in UK poker today (and maybe the youngest of those few) who fits in with the old and new school.

Enjoyed having you on my table in the 6 max, congrats. (he who neither that old nor that new)

I used to deal so generally always tip. I tip more when playing cash than I should. People in this country are noticeably tight at casinos for tipping (less so in card rooms I find).

One thing I like doing is if I am 3 handed and discussing a deal or whatever, building the tipping in can lead not only to a better deal for yourself, but also gets the dealers something.

One time I will never tip is if there is a "dealer bonus" or some other extra rake where they should be getting a decent wedge built in. If the casino or whatever is not passing this on to the dealers then they need to sort it out (with feedback from the punters).

If I won 100k i would leave £500 maybe max

Wow thats on the low side ;/

Well I was thinking 1k but that is a decent chunk of real money to be giving away ;/
So is more than that, but hey you'll never know until you get there...

Well played Ross Vino and others. I started but soon realised the commitment required was not sustainable. Always fun playing these sats tho.

I really love the Chipleader and its talked about every month or so in the office, i try to get it through but it only attracts as you know a select clientele.

If we get enough interest on this thread i will do my best to convince Rob & Simon we should try it again.

Its up to you.

Cheers Nick

Deffo a fan of this torn, therefore quite flattered to be known as a select client

And the title now changed to 'Just a kid with a lifelong nightmare'.

I too staked you Pete and oh what a silly boy you've been. I thought it strange that  you made no communication with me whatsoever, just took the money donked it and that was it.... now I see it wasnt so strange....

Fwiw, ALL previous grimmers I have read about on here have come on and made their apologies and tried to show rue for their actions. Not for you, for you its delete all those that have supported you in the past and run away. N1 WP etc etc.

Hope 2014 is a good poker year for you Rich, Got a property related question. Has your agency got involved with 'Agents Mutual'. Do you think this is at last a genuine force to break the mono/duopoly or Rightmove and Zoopla? (so we can see prices at a fair level). I guess on your business levels it doesnt really matter so much, but its the principle of feeling you are being scammed every year by the big two that grates. I used to get a massive discount from being part of the c/w network now Im paying through the nose.
Cheers Sean and the same to you obviously.

I always really struggle to see how anyone could come into the market place and rival Rightmove despite Zoopla movng upto number 2 from a standing start in a short space of time so would be sceptical of it.  The power that RM have in particular is massive and we only advertise on RM and hold down a massive market share in our town despite all our competitors advertising on all and sundry portals and tbh we prefer to spend our money on marketing/branding and awarness rather than inferior portals.

We may lose the odd bit of business to people who beleve that findaproperty will bring their buyer but win loads more showing people how many pages we take in the paper and how our details are presented etc etc.

Our R/M bill is massive though and it keeps going up and up...

I hate the feeling of being scammed each year and I hate the fact that they have a hold on me. I dont use Zoopla, and binned all the various other sites over the years. So I have committed to the Silver option on Agents Mutual on principle more than anything. Certainly the blurb makes it all seem possible... It may just be that it puts a stop to Rm's constant price hikes. That would, for me, be worth the extra spend.

I had the idea a while back for a paid app where you take a photo of someone at the table and it searches the hendon mob database using facial recognition and gives you your opponents real-life and online screennames and results and so on. Prob not feasible tho

Would onlyhave a chance of working if everyone put their photo on the database. No casino is going to allow google glass in their premises.

Yeah Matt I understand totally, Tomo's first lines when I met him was 'Ross your crap at poker' ( still says it now ) lol. And now were like buddies yay. I posted last night to Pete on Facebook, think he needs a break that's all just chill out and step back from this game, it can be crazy and I wouldn't want to see anyone upset from any of this banter, cos aside from how any of the posts read we do all care for the game and players in it Smiley)))
Xxl anyone tonight!? It's singles night! Or if ur lucky enough to have a bird who's into poker, the perfect night out Wink

Just to clarify before the message gets lost, I do not have a problem with Peter playing or been involved in the poker community.  I do have a problem with falsely representing yourself as a profitable player in order to have people (who with all due respect have very little knowledge of the game) send you money for buy ins.  Peter should understand why the community disagrees with his actions, actually take some input on board for a change, address the situation as necessary and then I'm sure we can all move on from this.  If Peter had listened to the input he was given in the first instance I'm pretty sure this wouldn't have happened.

Ross, you're still crap at poker  Tongue[/glow][/color]

Will chip counts with usernames or something be posted on here? Wasn't really paying attention to exactly how much i made it through with. Seems like this one will be pretty shooty. I think I had >avg, but <30bb going back.

The gp always has been like that, day two is just a mad super turbo, where luck plays 99% .
