Hi Everyone

Well it turns out Simon is very easy to win a bounty off Wink We paid out $7,000 to poker hero Paul Jackson ($2,000 for knocking him out of the $22 Contender) and DTD regular Phil Hepburn ($5,000 for knocking him out of the $109 Uppercut)

Massive congrats to both players.

Tonight Simon is sacked & Rob's back in the hot seat - so another $8,000 to be won!

Can you make Rob eat his words that he's better than Simon??

Thanks Nic

Have all of the $550 sats been cancelled today?

There are 5 of us needing to win a $550 seat in order to complete the ironman challenge, however it's been impossible as they're all getting cancelled, which is a shame having spent all week grinding on Party trying to complete the ironman challenge.

Hi

Every day at least 1 $550 satellite has ran. We have split the 10 seater to 2 x 5 seaters which are scheduled at 7pm & 9pm - this is to help get them started as only neeed 6 to run not 11. Apart from make them all 2 seats GTD and minimum runners 3 there is not much else we can do to help get them started.

The best things to do is to register early and show your interest, from experience if something looks like it will run in advance more people register - for some reason people are put off being the first to register so then no-one does Wink

They should all run during the week so keep registering Smiley

Thanks Nic

More tournaments with a significant amount of the prizepool diverted into seats for another game?

The distribution of the pot gets skewed by this. My instinct says it's not a good thing for the players,  maybe someone can make the opposite case?

Hi David

Currently on partypoker (and most other poker sites) you can not get these size guarantees for the buy in's we are offering and therefore we do not see this as taking from the prizepool instead we are increasing (doubling) current prizepools on partypoker and including the seats to events. Without adding the attraction of these seats we wouldn't be sure we'd hit the cash guarantees (or at least it would attract different players and not DTD players which is who these tournaments are for).

We are also allowing tickets won to be used for ANY future events either online or live so players who win tickets are now at an advantage over the current satellite rules.

Thanks Nicola

Big shout out to DTD for offering up endless streams for which to contact them, the only issue comes with inconsistency of information.

During the UKPC nobody really knew what they could do with their tickets, some where told they could save them if they couldn't make it, others were told they'd expire, others were told they'd expire if the guarantee wasn't hit, one DTD regular posted on Facebook saying he was told he could split his ticket/s in whichever way he chose regardless of the guarantee.

Is there a consistent message in terms of tickets won to specific tourneys? Take the DTD £330 this weekend, if you're unable to make it can we simply keep the credit and use it for another £330 in the future? Or use it as money off a bigger buyin?

Appreciate DTD are giving away tickets for fun at the moment so there may not be a rule set in place, but it would great if there was a rule set in stone.

Thanks in advance, it's by no means a dig, more of a recommendation, I fully appreciate the service DTD offer the UK Poker community is world class and we'd be lost without them.

Hi FezioJnr

Sorry to hear that you have received conflicting information, I'd be keen to know where players have been told this information as sometimes it's Chinese whispers between players which means the message ends up slightly different to what the first player was told Wink Also sometimes players ask cardroom staff i.e dealers who may not actually have the information about online satellites (for example) and take an educated guess. I will send all staff a reminder of the rules now but always ask on Blonde/Facebook or email to myself or Glenn as we handle satellite winners and will give the most accurate information Smiley

The correct ruling (and this stands for most major events including £300 Deepstacks) is that ALL first seats won must be used for the upcoming event by the player themselves, unless we meet the GTE and then we allow players to transfer their seat to the next event of the same value (we only know if the GTE is met on the last day 1 unless it is met beforehand and therefore recommend players don't take this risk).

If a player wins multiple seats then the additional seats can be used for re-entry or saved for the next event of the same value. Players cannot transfer seats to other players under any circumstances.

The only tournament in the schedule which follows a different rule is the Grand Prix Million which all online satellites seats MUST be used for the Grand Prix Million, players can play mulitple day 1's and take their highest stack through and we will have numerous day 1's (both online and live) so literally no excuses to not being able to make a few Wink

Please note down my email and feel free to ask me anything at any time, I always answer ASAP and only take a few hours for sleeping Wink nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com Smiley

Thanks Nicola

Very basic question, but someone probably knows!

I install Party a few days ago. I tried registering a new account but it recognises my email and said to contact them. The email I sent has been bounced back by my email provider.

So I tried logging in as "redsimon" and the site crashed my PC and had to reboot it. Tried again and it said my account was locked. Is there an email address where you get a response?

Hi Simon

If you have a different email address you can try then it will allow you to create a new account.

Alternatively if you use the live chat service that usually gets a speeder response than emailing in. Which email address did you use and I will chase to find out if that email address is in use.

Thanks Nic

Hi Guys

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues.

When the client continues to run in the background please press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and close down the process casino.exe to exit it altogether and this clears the problem (not ideal but better than leaving the programme running when switching off).

I don't know why you were told that it must be IE I can only think they mean ensure you have the latest IE version (or whichever browser you use).

In terms of the anti virus telling you that there are unsecurw elements you shouldn't receive this error however it does appear for some reason. It's hard for us to advise here as I know players don't want to ignore these messages.

I can guarantee that DTD are doing everything we can to improve the service to players and promise we will keep working to make the whole DTD experience much better after these few hiccups Smiley

Keep the faith, Nicola Smiley

Hi Guys

Firstly I can completely understand your frustration with the recent software issues - I was away all of last week and oblivious to it and am still in the office now trying to resolve things from tonight so feel the pain of all players and all DTD staff who have put in many extra hours last week to help resolve it.

There is no instant fix which DTD can implement for all issues so we have to be as patient as the players while trying to resolve any issues and as an apology for all of this we have added 5 x £125 seats every night in a 7pm Freeroll for those of you who are now able to log in to play, we have set them up for the whole week to ensure all players have time to re-gain access to their accounts.

Main Issues and how to resolve

- The software will not remember your details after the update so if you had 'remember me' and don't know your password then simply click on chat now on the log in page and we can instantly sort for you.
- You may be asked for your username - this is your GQR number which is sent on emails so check back your emails and you can find it or contact support via chat now and we can confirm after security checks.
- Deposit issues - we need iPoker to investigate most of these so please be patient however we can sort an alternative so please email me nicola@dtdpoker.com and I will sort for you if you have an ongoing deposit issues until they can be resolved.
- Restricted tournaments - please report these as we may just need to tweak your account to allow you to register. Could be an issue for re-entries even after you have played.

Remember support are on hand until midnight and you can email myself Nicola@dtdpoker.com or Glenn@dtdpoker.com morning, noon or night so we'll do everything we can Smiley

Thanks for your patience everyone.

Thanks Nicola

P.S. Be thankful you only have to sort once and not 1,000 times (per day) lol Smiley

Hi guys

Can you elaborate on the disco?

I have the satellite open and didn't notice any problems - can you explain further?

Also did you report to online support? They have a direct line to iPoker and can send to them immediately for you.

Thanks Nicola
9  Poker Forums / The Rail / DTD £250 Deepstack £150k GTD UKIPT Special 30th Apr-4th May incl 50 UKIPT Seats on: April 25, 2014, 10:42:23 PM
Sorry this has probably been covered !

The £250 next weekend is £150k gtd with 50 ukipt seats

I can't make the ukipt (gutted) so if I finished in top 50 can I save the seat for a future event or two deep stacks ?

Many thanks.

Hi Lee

Yes you can save the £1,100 seat for future £1K events - we'll hopefully be announcing one for later in the year and you can split if necessary too.

Thanks Nic

Hi Guys

Also forgot to mention....

If you MAKE DAY 2 WITH A GOLDEN CHIP and then try again and build a HIGHER stack you will KEEP the Golden Chip.

So to confirm you WILL NEVER lose a Golden Chip once you make day 2 Smiley

Thanks Nicola

Hi Guys

Here are the chip counts from last night's ONLINE Day 1 Smiley

We had 184 entries with a starting stack of 50,000 chips therefore there were 9.2Million chips in play - we also played 16 levels which is 2 more levels than we did in the last Grand Prix so a big difference seen in Day 2 stacks.

If we hit the 3,000 entries (which of course we will Rob)....then there will be 150Million Chips in play and blinds restart at 6,000 - 12,000 which an ante of 2000 so we expect to see some impressive stacks going in to Day 2 due to all of the above.

REMEMBER it's take your Highest Stack through so if you have more Tokens or wish to try again you WILL NOT forfeit this stack.

We have Penny Rolls starting again at 5pm today and another 100 seats GTD tonight....please support these sats as Rob left me in charge of the Mega Sats so it's all on my head Wink No pressure guys!

Well played to all Blondes - I know there are quite a few amongst these stacks and we're happy for you to claim your stack Smiley

Hi Guys

Thanks for all your feedback, we understand that we can't keep everyone happy and obviously players with deeper pockets are always going to be at an advantage in any situation.

As it stands tokens cannot be used for a rebuy or add-on due to network restrictions, however we add the option to have up to 2 re-entries which you CAN use a token for. This solves the having a 2nd bullet issue - although we know this isn't as effective of having a rebuy or addon, it allows the lower bank roll players a chance to compete at that level with 2 or 3 bullets.

Unfortunately we can't set up a reg free satellite, even if we know it will 100% overlay and any reg taken for DTD is given back to the players, as it's not as clear cut as that and not an option for us to do I'm afraid.

It would be great for us if we had the option to use a token for rebuy's or add-ons, as this would increase the spend throughout the satellite tree and more players would play for their spare tokens but just isn't an option at the moment.

If we made the £50 final a freezeout it would need to be a lower seats GTE (which wouldn't generate enough seats for the event and therefore event GTE would need to be lowered) or we would need to make it a higher buy in and then we've got to increase the feeder price.

It's hard to get a balance, however we have changed the satellites for next week's £250 and these should be a touch more affordable at all levels Smiley

Thanks Nicola
