Pete bathed he girls on Wednesday night and the three of them made a terrible mess playing with a wind up turtle in the bath.
On Thursday Pete went of to do the Wilf Gilbert ( a chain of independent bookmakers in the Midlands ) refund on lose offer. They pick a race and if you lose your bet then they give you a free bet to the same value up to £100.
We have been doing this offer for a couple of months now and have been running well above EV. ( EV is about £70 ) .
I usually pick the horse to back but was busy so told Pete to pick a horse with odds between 7/1 and 10/1 with the odds as close to Betfair as possible.
The race was the 2.20 at Newcastle and the horse he picked was Ruby Bay 7/1. The Betfair odds were 8.2. Then he saw Snapping Turtle. He put the £100 on Snapping Turtle. He asked for the price and the guy wrote 33/1 on the slip. The Betfair odds were 80/1.
Ruby Bay led all the way round. Pete said ' I thought she'll kill me ' .
Ruby Bay was pipped on the line by.........................
SNAPPING TURTLE.
Should take care of the girls Christmas presents !!

Did the lay of Princely Hero get actioned?
Might be able to get out before the race at this rate.
Drifting like a barge.
Easy money if it was. Hats off to the Chompster. The play was I think to lay at 4 before the off and back at 8 in running. I don't know if it got to 4 before the off and I didn't see it get to 8 in running. It was 3.85 to lay last night and was matched at 8 in running

Poor old Tommo
If you put 'Lee Tomlin' into Google, the second suggestion is 'Lee Tomlin Fat'. There's also a 'Lee Tomlin Weight' option.
*Golf 9.16 tee off, Millbrook, oi oi!
Princely Hero will always be a day-of-race drifter. Anticipated IR movements always force prices outwards these days. He's probably around a genuine 5/2 shot to win but I wouldn't be surprised if he hits 6 pre-race, coz he's quite likely to hit double figures IR.
He's super lazy and is down in trip on better ground.
Gotcha. Sort of. I understand that it is not possible to give precise numbers, but if anyone can suggest to sensible (tiddlearsey) stakes what I should pre-enter (as sonour suggested last week) & at what numbers, I'll give it a whirl. Ok, lay £20 at 4.0. If it is matched before the off then back £10 at 8.0 and tick keep in play. Is that ok Chompy ?

I have a few I really like. Seattle, Detroit unders, Cincy/Baltimore 6 point teaser, Mike Wallace first and last TD.......
Red, The minimum number of selections on the Bet365 6 point teaser card is three. I don't suppose you have another one do you ? Thanks You could add in Seattle +8.5 or +8 Thanks Redarmi. That's two out of two teasers you've given us now.

Any NFL fancies for today?
I have a few, know Betting Emporium has a few good ones. Feel we miss those.
Tempting to put Homer ref up again. We missed on Oak v Tenn then last week I forgot Min beating Chicago in OT as big u-dogs with this ref
Today, he has Washington at home to the Chiefs. Washington +3. Fits the criteria.
Rich, I thought you recommended Kansas City Chiefs -3 ? I did then I went to look at the ref, who we have been following for 10 weeks or so Ignore me, its safer ;-) No, I like the Home ref bet. I'll reverse my position. Thanks

Tomorrow at Sandown, it's effectively Rolling Aces v Harry Topper in the 2.20 Sandown and it's 6/5 each of two, plus the rag at 8/1.
Rolling Aces has more toe and is a good jumper. Harry Topper is more about stamina and usually hits one or two. In a small field round Sandown tactics will play a part, especially over the railway fences.
This might be a good time for a first ever IR bet. Thinking along the line of £100 @ 6/5 Rolling Aces with a view to laying back £80 @ 1.5 IR.
If & KNOW I'll be available @ 2.20, I'll be able to do this, but I don't know yet if I will. Perfect opportunity for fat-fingered misclickage, too. Tikay, you can do the back and the lay now. Set the lay to 1.5 and tick keep in play. Or back £100 at 2.2 and lay £150 at 1.5 for a profit of £44 win or lose. Lay matched at 1.5 in running. Thanks Chompy

I think there is an interesting bet in the NFL today. Arizona travel to Philly with a general line of Philly -3.5 and a total of 48.5. Normally in these spots the total and the pointspread are totally unrelated but I don't think that is the case here. Philly score a lot of points and like to run up and down the field at a high tempo. If they do this, imo, they win and cover. Arizonas only chance is to control the pace of the game and stop Phillys offense. If they do this they not only win the game (or at the very least cover) but the game will go under more often than 50% of the time. Seems a good spot for a double to me. Suggest 50 double on Arizona +3.5 and under 48.5 both at 10/11 with Ladbrokes.
Thank you, redarmi
