I won a satellite to the $1050 main event last week. It registered me to a satellite for the next day, to win a seat to a $25k event instead of the main event, which it was supposed to register me to. I did not fancy playing that so I unregistered, went to tickets, clicked the $1050 ticket and clicked to enter the main event. Only after confirming did I realise it used cash instead of my ticket.

Surely Party should give me T$ for this unused ticket right? I fired off a quick email to support explaining the situation and was told to wait till pokerfest had finished. It isn't as if I have entered a sat to a tournament I wouldn't play or I have taken tickets out of the economy by grinding the sats. I entered, won and then entered the target tournament after winning...

Party support have told me after a follow up email that I made an error and the ticket is gone from my account now and I will be given $0 compensation.

To kick me while I'm down they said I am a "valued customer". They don't seem to realise they have stolen $1050 from me.

Am I being ridiculous here?

EDIT: I didn't even get offered rakeback on the $1050 they've basically raked from me without me playing a hand

could i have your username please? Also dates and id numbers for the satellites/tournaments played/intended to play. I will then ask for this to be looked at

First $215 sat is next week? I see the semi finals deployed but no final for this week.

Has the button paying the ante structure been discussed anywhere on here already? I've been mulling it over in the back of my mind for a couple of nights and haven't quite decided if I like it or not.

Jack was in the squash team at the University of Surrey with me. I didn't know him that well and we lost contact for about 5 years so it was a bit of a shock to run in to him at dtd and then in Vegas and the main. I can't believe I declined a swap at the end of day 5! It is a small world.

If most entries are from phases and if more than 10% go through from each phase, then each day 1 entry hasn't contributed the equivalent of £5k to the prize pool.. but rather £500 per 100k chips in play? I'm probably being a bit too fussy here, gl hitting it!

Not that I have 2 Day 1 seats, but have a couple of questions if you don't mind;

1. If you qualify from 2 Phase 1's, can you play 2 day 1's and potentially take the biggest stack through to day 2?
2. If you qualify from 2 Phase 1's, can you play 1 day 1 and keep your £5300 seat for other unrelated tournaments in the future?

2 If a player makes Day 2 from a phase sat and has a £5K seat that isn't promo we are happy to go tourney dollars

1. I was led to believe that if you qualify through two phase 1s you will only be able to play your larger stack. Can you really play the big stack first and then crazily gamble a bowl stack on the second day 1 in the hopes of getting more?

2. I think you answered a different question to what he asked. If you qualify through a phase 1 and have a stack of exactly 1mil, your equity will be £5300 (ignoring rake, whatever). If you have any other stack it won't be worth £5300 obviously. A 50k chip stack is not worth £5300. Tighty's answer to the different question makes sense though. It seems fairly obvious with the above said that you will not get any sort of refunds for the question you asked or be able to use the chips for something else unrelated due to equity being different.

I would quite like to have 2 bullets lined up and take advantage of this value being offered. Is this possible? Would I get 5k back if I make day 2 on my first bullet if I have a spare one? Thanks!

Technically the £5K seat behind the desk for you isn't allocated to a specific tournament. So if you make it through with chunks from a Phase 1 and don't need it as a re-entry it sits at DTD and can be used in future events. And will save you costs on a video camera and lighter fluid for the fire

I'm pretty sure they screw you over, if I deposited 1k£ then snap withdrew 10 mins later I'd probs lose 5% with currency conversion.

I just called them up again, to see about depositing in £. They said my accounts set to dollars only, despite the fact I never asked for this at any point.

5% BOTH WAYS. I try to just do swaps to get money on there or talk to support to try to get a good deposit bonus.

Never won a live sat on party before so don't really know their way of doing things. Also, is it possible to win more than 1 sat to the same event and get T$ or something?
