16  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: WPT UK at DTD: £1m GTD 7th-23rd November on: November 07, 2014, 07:17:02 PM
Dusk Till Dawn One to watch:
Our One to Watch feature will run through a list of names we are tipping to do well over the World Poker Tour Festival at DTD.

We start with probably the biggest name in UK Poker,
Sam Trickett:
Sam started his playing career at DTD back in 2007, at some of the the club's opening events. Over the past 7 years he has developed to become Number 1 on the England all time money list and sits 6th in the world. He has one of the most decorated Hendon Mob profiles going with a host of EPT, WPT and WSOP cashes from events across the globe. He has taken the British Poker Awards by storm in the past few years winning multiple gongs.

As a fitting tribute to this incredible career we event named our VIP room after him. 'Trickett's Room' is a focal point of any VIP visit to DTD.

Stats:
Live Cashes (according to Hendon Mob): $20,552,960
Biggest Cash: WSOP One Drop 2012, 2nd: $10,112,001
All Time Money List Current Rank: 6th

He ran deep at WPT Cyprus and came second in WPT Venice. Can he get his name on the WPT Champions Trophy on his doorstep here at DTD?

I doubt Sam will need to shop for a bidet anytime soon Smiley

It's hard to imagine bookies would misprice a dog that much in the semis of a 4 round comp that has won both it's previous rounds and broke the track record. I'd also be careful lumping short ones in the 3rd round of a 6bend 4 round comp as you never know how much the runs have taken out of the dogs. Having said all that she is pretty well drawn and has massive chance of making the bend in front. Gl

Chompy wanted us to get out of Peterborough top 6 bet, so works out cashing threads bet gets £250 back so a £50 loss, he did ask me to do it couple weeks ago and they obviously had worse results since. So will send Tikay £250

Yeah he was sponsored by betfair at the time- he runs some sort of staking house now in Thailand from what I gather. Used to bet pretty big on US sports as well

When bf had their Singapore tournament a few people were chosen for a documentary for free buyin, hotel flights etc. Was mix of people, one worked played recreationally, 1 pro who had amazing work ethic, a female vegan who was as far away from the typical poker player as u could find and I was obv "their degen". Before had cameras go to Romford dogs with me, watch me gamble online and stuff- cribs style tour of house where I lived with parents so as unballa as you can get. When we got to Singapore they filmed me and friends at the racetrack and sorted it so I presented the Singapore Derby winner- think was Derby. We bet the winner as well, and gave it a decent cheer home that the prime minister was in the box next to us and was wondering what was going on. The documentary never made it onto tv thank god as looking back would have been portrayed awfully no don't and cringe thinking about it. Think was in 2006/7??

Anyone watching dogs. T2 8:34 is mine, have bet it- wouldn't put anyone off backing it, hopefully better class than these long-term. Think 6 is the other runner if you want to save

I was at sittingbourne Sunday, think 5 didn't want to go by Jumbo, defo looked like he ponced around anyway.

Tackle dog was really impressive, it's got 28.35 on its card over 4 bends at Wimbledon, huge runner in Leger

Sanchez top Arsenal gs. Have £100 for Fred at 7/2. So would have Wellbeck +500, Sanchez + 150, field -300.
