Marty Smyth still in? I thought you reported him gone earlier.

No, he's out Mick, one of the dealers have made a mistake with his card and someone else's.
OK. Thanks Krazy Kris

Hi Kev and Chris. Can you wish the best of luck to Marty Smyth and Paul Parker for me. You can also tell Parker he played those pocket Kings like a wimp!

Dana... It seems there are no after effects from eating the raw burger. You must have a cast iron stomach!

POLL

- Is this hamburger going to poison me?

I paid €20 for it so I'm going to eat it either way, but I'd like to know what to expect stomach-wise tomorrow.

Hope it's not too late to tell you, DON'T EAT THE BURGER. It's not properly cooked. If you have already eaten it, expect to need medical attention tomorrrow. My sympathy.

Update on Peter Roche please. Also, did George McKeever play today?
Cheers

I hate to interrupt this live update with personal issues, but I just purchased a tuna sandwich for €10. I can only compare the painful feeling inside to a burst appendix.  Cry

€20 hamburger just now consumed, and I'm not even full. Cry Cry

Jen had a €5 Coke. Cry Cry Cry

How did said burger compare with the DTD deluxe variety ?

To be honest, it was not a bad burger. I would say it was roughly on a par with the DTD burger (the regular, not the deluxe - it seems like a fairer comparison) - both perhaps a 6.5 out of 10, where 1=the hamburgers my old school canteen served, and 10=the Best Hamburger In The World, which I consumed at the Clover Grill in New Orleans, Louisiana, in Autumn 2002.

However, when price is taken into account - around £8 for the DTD burger, €20=£16.05 (!!!) for my lunch today, $4.95 (£2.51) for the Clover Grillburger, a wide gap in the quality/price ratio becomes evident, making the Monte Carloburger almost exactly half as good as the DTD burger.

Are we looking at the Monte Carlo burger here? The first year I went the burger cost €20... on it's own!!! Fries were €8 extra. Also, most of the burgers were undercooked and brought many people down with iffy stomachs.
BTW can you say hello and good luck to Peter Roche for me.
Cheers

By the way, what do I have to do to get some more of those little gold stars?

Update on Peter Roche please. A player not to be underestimated. Does not play too many tournaments but is a high stakes cash game regular.

OK Flops. 40 minutes have passed since I asked for an update on Peter Roche. I know you can always outdraw me at the poker table but now you want to ignore me as well?
Anyway, I have got my own update on Peter. At the end of level 15 he had about 80,000. You seem to have missed a Brit, Paul Alterman, who had  around 120,000 at the end of level 15
