Barry Hawkins
China Open Winner
10/1
Each Way (2 Places at 1/2 Odds)
Total Stake: £50.00
Potential Returns: £425.00

A polite decline of my offer would of been nice. Keep forgetting I am outside the circle, no wonder people not tipping anymore.

The China Open draw is extremely lopsided after the defeat of Ronnie in the last 64

in the top half you have

Selby
Higgins
Ding
Wilson
Mark Williams
Mark Allen
Bingtao

in the bottom half there are 3 top 16 players

Hawkins
Robertson
Bingham

see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_China_Open_(snooker)

the bottom quarter has Hawkins as the only top 16 player

these matches are best of 11, so not too short though clearly variance is higher (Ronnie lost to Slessor 6-2) than in the world's, best of 19 even in the qualifiers

WHill offer us 9/1 1/2 1,2 currently (second favourite in the half behind Robertson, whose form has picked up too)

they are the only firm offering each way now

Hawkins hasn't had a great season but reached the final of the Welsh last time out, running all the way to the final without playing a top 16 player (parallels to the way this is shaping up) then losing to Higgins 9-7 and is running into some form ahead of the Crucible where he often "outperforms" expectations

https://www.oddschecker.com/snooker/china-open/winner

suggest £25 e/w Hawkins 9-1 China Open

entirely a play on the lopsided nature of the draw, trying to hit the each way portion first

I think we should go for this Rich.

12/1 on leovegas. I can place if needed

Let me know by morning.

Hello,i have to be quick so can't give this the full monty however

West Brom v Burnley Saturday

WBA are 7 points adrift , kept Pardew on as there was no one to replace him with and have 8 losses and a draw in their last ten games. One league win since 19th August

Burnley are 7th, won a couple of games before the break (3-0 at west ham, 2-1 home to Everton) and not only don't concede many but are in with a serious shot at Europe and need to carry on as they are to hold off Everton and lcfc (the failure of both to have much concerted form since Xmas has kept Burnley in 7th).

Their recent results arrested a slump on now wins in 11 games from 12th Dec til March and have coincided with the return to fitness of key players, notably the back four they are likely to play is that that did so well in the early part of the season

Lowton-Tarkowski-Mee-Ward

why are Burnley very nearly 2/1 underdogs?

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/west-brom-v-burnley/winner

i very much like Burnley to win to nil too

Burnley have conceded 27 in 31 matches, west brom scored 24 in 31

100/30 available

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/west-brom-v-burnley/to-win-to-nil

Top tipping Tighty.

Good spot Tighty, shame the late goal basically wiped any profits from the outright but angle was good. Value don’t pay them bills.

Maybe next week, we could do something on here. Mini competiton?
Someone trusted hold the funds. Everyone submits a correct score for each game, each number of legs away from correct result is a point. Least points accrued wins?

We do this at work and thats only reason I put that on. Needless to say I won the work comp too :-)

Love the darts.

If Cross wins by 2 or more legs. Win £12,500 from a £50 handicap acca!

How on earth has dreadful rarely played Welbeck managed to worm his way back in the England squad?  Wouldn’t get in Watford’s match day squad.  Such a below par player.

I call. I’d love to see some pace upfront for the orns. Deeney/Okaka/Gray too similar and too slow.

On relflection all three of those options are weak.  That said the likes of Welbeck and Iwobi lurking in the Arsenal squad is the reason there is no longer a big 6 imo.

Seems fair. Wellbeck has shown some promise but is not a top 6 striker. That being said, with all the money Arsenal spent on strikers they had to rely on Wellbeck to save them last night!
