1  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Grosvenor - Accounts locked for making deposits To cover GUKPT buyins on: June 20, 2020, 05:05:13 PM

I'm aware that there are various issues regarding some accounts and verifications. It's really frustrating that it's taking longer than expected and I totally get how annoyed you are, it's understandable.

If anyone has responded to their communications with the correct documents and you've not had a response yet please let me know your usernames and I'll get someone who I deal with at Grosvenor to escalate it for you.

You can message either Jeff Kimber or myself with usernames but it's probably better you do it on Twitter as we don't often read the forum. @jeffkimberpoker @joebeevers

Congrats fellas.  Would recommend for those with accounts.

Many subscribers, particularly Brodders soccer, use the exchanges (mostly Betfair and Matchbook), Mustardbet, Redzone and manage quite well without high street accounts. High street accounts are useful but our shortlist are usually best price.

Hi Joe. Congrats on running such a successful tipping site, but does that overlap profit figure take into account the cost of all the packages?

If you subscribe to everything it's about £1000 a year, maybe a little over that now actually. A lot is free, weekly 'Road to Riches', O/U 2.5 Premier League, golf, Oscars and various other stuff from time to time.

Bettingemporium is 5 Years Old Today!   (1st March is seen as our official launch leading up to 2013 Cheltenham).

Happy birthday to us and especially to all our followers, many who have been with us since we started Bettingemporium back in March 2013!

We have just updated our results page again and guess what? Profits at an all time high (yes again...) If you bet £10 per point on every recommended bet since launch you would be winning +£44,418.20 All bets have an ROI + 4.06%

http://www.bettingemporium.com/pages/view/results-section

A £4000 bank (see FAQ re bank-roll requirements) betting £10 a point on all selections would now be worth £48,418.20 an 1110% increase

Even just following the free tips in our weekly article 'Road to Riches' you would be showing a very tidy profit: So far the free bets in this section (244 so far) are showing a profit of £9,949.90 (betting £10 a point) with a +ROI of 37.14%

The free Premier League computer bets (O 2.5 goals) are showing a profit of £3,329.80 (betting £10 a point) with +ROI of 6.47%. Horse Racing is showing a profit of £10,308.00 and a very decent long term ROI +8.25%

This is all over a very large sample size over a five year period!

Current subs available are Brodders soccer monthly and the Cheltenham Festival - full details on our homepage at www.bettingemporium.com

If bookmakers are so keen to ban price sensitive customers and arbers then why do they provide/ allow/ even pay for feeds on odds comparison and bet matching websites?

These sites have to have permission to use the data. Anyone using a matched betting site is not a rec and bookmakers provide them live feeds. Bookmakers pay to be on some odds comparison sites and those most prominently placed pay the most. Some are even so inundated with bookmakers wanting to advertise that the comparison sites have been known to turn them away or put them on waiting lists or sell spots to the highest bidder.

I'm guessing it's because marketing want to drive numbers and achieve targets and so pay to get new accounts (any new accounts) whilst the accountants close them as fast as they are opened because they are not profitable business.

It doesn't make business sense at all.

Many Clouds 4.7/4.8 now the top 4.
Silvianico Conte now 6.8/7.  As stated earlier, we could get 8.8 this morning.

Win prices haven't changed much.  It was all a bit odd, but seems to have corrected.

Quite simply more layers than backers in the market earlier, now a few more backers arriving. Market to 380% was big, now 395.9%. It is possible there are only 2 or 3 winners don't forget.

Nevertheless Doobs we have some great bets. 9/2+ MC first four was just silly.

i suspect DNB may have been sensible, but anyway

took the last of the 16/5, on which we were limited to win £50

Man Utd v West Ham

    16/5
    £15.63
    £65.65
    West Ham
    Match Odds

    Bet Ref: O/0140260/0000203

Another way to get with this (and my preference) is to take the 10/1 WHU outright.
Funnily enough I took some this morning before this was put up.
10/1 with Choral, Stan and Sky. 10.5/11 on the machine.

Aus are 6/1 with Laddies for T20WC and 1/2 odds 1st two when most are a 1/3.

6.4 to lay on machine for outright and a 9/4 best to make final.

In group 2 they are 2/1 2nd favs to win the group (India 11/8 favs) and have the easier group.

3/1 to make final is massive.

group 2 is by far the harder group.

Especially if you consider it highly likely that India take one of the two qualifying spots, you have Australia, New Zealand (dangerous), Pakistan (flaky but nasty quicks) and Bangladesh (if they make it, they go into this group) all battling for one spot

Personally I prefer WI and SL > NZ and PK but I take your point. India are available at 13/8 ( tho) to win group if you like them.

6/1 lasted 15 mins after posting and was great value win or ew, sadly gone now anyway.

Looking forward to your outright write up ;-)

Anybody find any markets for total number of runs?

As well as the usual spreads (currently322 - 332, opened 319 offer) Spreadex have binary markets on a dozen numbers.

325 or more is 48.7 / 56.6

I'd be really interested so see the Selby v O Sullivan odds. Surely Selby has got to be favourite for this match and anything else would be just sentiment? Not that I think Ronnie is a bad player, but he just hasn't played at all. Isn't he being priced on popularity and results in previous years rather than where he is today. Or is he just that much better than everyone else that he can just show up and have a good chance to win against the other best players in the game?

Selby 6/4
O'Sullivan 8/13

Pretty hard to see how Selby is 6/4 for this in all honesty.  Must be close to a max bet imo.  If Ronnie wasn't playing an awful Williams today he would have been out the door fairly rapidly this afternoon.  Obviously had spells of looking great at times but totally uninterested at times as well including his interview afterwards.  Unless he turns up and just blows Selby off the table with 4 or 5 80+ breaks it is pretty tough to see how he is going to win this match.

Selby is granite and totally the wrong sort of player for Ronnie to beat trying to fall over the line against short of match practice.

Totally agree with this 100%. 6/4 Selby is one of the best snooker bets I have seen for a while. Total miss-price. Price based on historical form and rep, not current form, as well as public money.

I have to admit that I haven't done much work on this and some of the names I don't really recognise so this is just for discussion rather than a recc. I quite like the look of David Gest at 6/1 personally but John Partridge looks a decent price at 8/1+ on the machine.

Can John Partridge win? Does his reason for going in the house help?
