I like 3b here I think. If villain is as described then I would expect him to 4b/f a decent % which is a pretty good result. The reason I like a 3b here is because we can def have a decent % of bluffs in this spot with hands that are a bit annoying to peel with like some Ax and K10o etc but are happy to call off against the shorties after 3betting.

Anyway with current image and dynamic I feel like villain might get stubborn whether it be with 4b/f or peeling wider. I guess the merits of flatting are that the shorties in the blinds may jam a slightly wider range than what they would if you'd have 3b but I still think they're gonna be fairly tight in this spot probably doesn't make that much of a difference.

The spider thing was one of the funniest moments ever. It wasn't even a set up, just an unfortunate accident Cheesy
Yeah. Hilarious.

My only goal in poker is to reach it into everyone's blogs about a hand they lost to me. No dreams of a bracelet or anything like that, just pain to Notts regs.

Seems pretty achievable tbf. Who's next on the list?

jamming all of them
Pretty happy to go with all of these. It's not fair if villain actually has a hand here he is willing to 3b/c because its an amazing spot for him to be bluffing with the icm considerations and all that nonsense.

I'm not sure you'll be able to make a living playing 50/1 tbh. It's a pretty short stacked game with high rake. I just dont think its feasible that anyone can sustain a living playing the capped 50/1 games at DTD.

Also nottingham is not the best place to play as the games probably have the highest concentration of good regs that will make it hard for any biginner to win long term. I know this may sound condescending and pessimistic but I honestly think online poker would be a far better solution and will make the learning curve take a lot less time.

It's annoying when that actually do somehow have us beat here but I reckon I always call in these spots, doesn't look like a raise on paper but maybe that's a leak of mine. I think the amount of times a live player will show up with a better hand here is pretty unlikely and they're quite often just leading 3 streets with hands he doesn't know what to do with so just bets without knowing why. I.e. some K10/KJ, some pairs that pick up flush draws and maybe a hand like 34ss  if we are pushing the boat out.

88/99 seems like optimistic hands to have in villains value range here imo. Especially with his river sizing

I imagine we'repretty deep hence the smoooooooooooth call pre flop

Yeah pretty deep versus PJ. Think we're both in the region of £800 deep at this point.
It was a straddled pot and was probs 200bb eff at most

Word of the month - tilt. Comfortably biggest losing month ever, cannot win a hand, and cannot catch a break. Ended up becoming a total bluffing and calling station. Have said "you win" more times than I can count, and to cap it all feel pretty damn alienated from pretty much everyone. Biggest loser in almost every game I've sat in this month. Real glad I have a stop loss. Hate having a chart, looks like I'm going to have to just face being a losing player, wonder if I was ever any different. Thoughts?
Belton has gone through a decent amount of emotional turmoil in this game. Perhaps get his opinion, he seems do have overcome it these days.

Fold river as played but I'd be tempted to 3b V2 pre as he's been known to spazz
