Next labour leader.

Surely a woman?

Surely left wing to be elected by the membership?

.....leads to either RLB (4/1) or Rayner (8/1)

cant have Rayner, so going in again on RLB.

I’m the opposite of this. Can have Rayner, can’t have RLB. But we shouldn’t be doing this silly thing where we go round saying it must be a female leader or dr who or James Bond, etc etc

Jobs should be given on merit, not on sex

It’s quite amusing to hear Boris saying it’s time to heal divisions. This will never happen.

The country is completely divided by an election that should have never been called.

I'm hoping that's code for  - now I don't have to pretend to listen to what the ERG want we can make the best of this shambles.

It’s code for we shouldn’t have had the referendum. The country wasn’t talking about it.

I hope nobody did too much on the 1/3 Lib Dem’s in Sheffield Hallam

Fair play on that on Aaron, I didn't back it. Had a list of short priced seats that I would have added to my mug multiples but they only allowed singles so didn't bother.

Your prediction that it was going to be close was way off the mark though.

Of course it was. The polls on average showed an 8 point lead, with some showing 4/5 point leads. I genuinely thought that these queues was young people.

But also  the one bet I did have was Labour over 200 🤷‍♂️

Seeing Arb & Chompy around my feet reminds me of a dog begging for food.

Only thing that’s making me smile. Say “woof” guys

The exit poll comes with a projection for every seat and what is striking is that it looks like the Tories have had a dire night in London as well as Scotland but still won a stonking majority. This means the Tories must have swung a wrecking ball through that Red Wall.

They’ve done (apparently) really bad in postal vote and in the north.

Where's Aaron!

What’s the exit poll got to do with me?

Btw, I thought the Exit poll was bigger than 23k?

If you’re watching the coverage, which channel you watching it on?

Look at these queues at Polling stations. Full of young people.

Going to be so close.

It really was a bunch of old farts when I went down.   Good job the yoof made it out elsewhere.

I’m talking generally about the polling stations that are being reported as huge queues.

Polling stations are busier than ever. Telegraph reporting a 5 point lead, May had 8 points and didn’t get a majority.

Hung parliament odds 6/4-2/1.

According to oddschecker :

Majority 1/2
Hung 5/2 best, generally 2/1

As Arbboy said Aaron, fill your boots.

Easy money.

I’ve only had one bet & I know it’s a winner 🤷‍♂️

If the Tories just miss out by 5-10, can they still govern? How can Labour potentially govern without Sinn Fein to get things through parliament?

This new MRP poll could mean it's all over the Tories, it highlights the fight for seats in so many areas, with a bigger sample

Look at Kensington for example

Before the MRP poll:

CON: 39%
LAB: 29%
LDEM: 27%

MRP Poll:

LAB: 38%
CON: 36%
LDEM: 21%

It's a game changer in that seat, because you'd still struggle to know which party to vote for, now you do

If the LD's support Labour in Chingford (IDS seat), then they gain

In Raab's seat it's the same

And of course there is plenty more

If folk are switched on enough in where to put their vote, they'll stop Boris. If it goes even better you can see where Boris is well under 326.
