3586  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: DTD 500 deepstack seat sale on: February 20, 2012, 02:58:56 PM
All this post seems to have attracted is my PM box full of a bunch of low ball offers. I stated 'ideally' so I am open to offers, but these offers should be realistic, most of which I've received are far from this. Pretty sure someone would do 500+5-10% I'll be asking around next time I'm down at DTD too.

Mate, your opening post is so bad that you are always going to get a lot of people giving you some crap offers. In fact my post (earlier) in this thread was pretty positive really.

But after thinking about it and how you have worded it, you are going to struggle to get over £450 for this. If you want to PM me with anything you seem reasonable, then I might buy the seat off you.

Ah thank you! I obviously mis-read and thought it was Friday, Saturday is much better for me anyway!

Cheesy Cheesy

Hi Tighty,

I might be up for this, but how many levels are there and are deals still able to be negotiated? What times does it finish on Friday?
3589  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Pokerstars now has an app! on: February 20, 2012, 09:12:59 AM
should be a 1/2 pot/ pot button imo, typing in the bets takes too long and the slider doesn't work very well.

battery life isn't great, but OK. I reckon 2-3 tabling you losing 20% of the battery life every hour.

Other than that, the app is perfect!

Must be something up with my phone or something.

I can't use normal apps on mine for an hour without losing half of the battery life.

Hi mate,

not sure you are going to get much action with this, as gamblers aren't much bothered about a tenner. Perhaps you will only get this sold if someone knows they are definitely going to play this and want to save a tenner.

Perhaps ask for £500 and 5-10% of that persons actions.

I don't agree with the comment of "plays to win" because don't we all?

The unfortunate thing for Tom is that he can't pass his cards, at the FT and as CL (I think?) it's time to lock up.

I haven't read through all the pages of this thread (probably about 5) and every page that I did read was full of a HH with Tom!

Well done to everyone who cashed!

I don't think I would like to use this on my phone as my eye sight is poor.

I had a go on it last night and it was OK, my main problem is that it's hard to understand whether you have 2 sapdes/2clubs or one of each.

I deffo need to get an iPad though, it's something that can save you money, whilst you make money on Pokerstars!!

Probably need to get one of those wireless charges.

3594  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Pokerstars now has an app! on: February 14, 2012, 11:45:00 PM
Well this indeed is massive.

But I am an iPhone4 user and the battery life is just crap, it surely can't last for 5 hours+? I don't really want to bring my phone charger out with me too! Cheesy Cheesy
3595  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: HSBC closing my acc due to staking transfers?! on: February 14, 2012, 04:00:49 AM
Reading through this I am kind of glad to see some people have the same problem as I have.

I've done a quite a few transfers with Natwest and they are always nosy *****. Not to mention everytime I go into the CC branch they always want to open another account or tell me how to use or 'spread' my money. I've heard all of the stories before we'll take £10k out of your account, put it into shares, but you are 100% covered, 2 years later you have about 4k...

Banks should be grateful we put our money in and keep out of our way! Every single time I go into branch it's the same old crap. I am happy enough to have a current/savings and leave it at that!!! Although the most annoying thing is that on both accounts I have a limit of £250 and it's rather embarrasing when you can't get any more out of the bank. My savings has quite a bit it and when you can't get out a minimal amount like more than £250 it's a joke.

I am moving to Barclays when I can be bothered!
3596  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Anon at dtd on: February 13, 2012, 11:45:09 PM
I'm not in favour of ANON in any of our main weekend comps, well im not actually in favour of ANON anywhere, its on the list to review

I don't agree with this, it shouldn't be reviewed.

Some people have decent enough reason to not put their name on the results page in poker tournaments and if they want to keep their win or the fact they gamble to themselves, then it's a free country.

I don't "Anon" and I can understand why people would do it (owe people money or don't want people to find out) but it's their choice.

There are always other genuine reasons why people do it and that is to stop people knowing they have won quite a large amount. I've been on the end of many people asking for money when they've seen a win on Napoleons poker results or straight after a win, so you can understand why people want to keep it to themselves. I only ever borrowed money to someone and it took me 4 months to get it back, I would NEVER do it again, unless it's to close friends on the scene.

Rather annoying to hear stories of person X owes you money, blah blah blah.

Don't the people known as "anon" get found out if they FT anyway?
3598  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: Premier League Relegation Season 2011/2012 on: February 13, 2012, 12:19:37 AM
Reading through this thread it goes to show how wrong everyone is.

At the start of the season I expected big things from Wolves, I thought it might be the season they go into top half, but that has backfired. But to even that up, I did think Bolton was going to struggle this season.

My current view is that those that are in the bottom 3 will stay there now.

Wolves - Hammered by West Brom who are just a very average PL team.
Bolton - Just play so poor and outplayed by Wigan at the weekend.
Wigan - Just a very poor team in general.

QPR have bought players that are of a decent standard and will stay up.
3599  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: DEAL OR NO DEAL on: February 11, 2012, 01:28:30 AM
Surely the "no deal except chip count" as to be independent (at least, if not in favour of the deal brigade)

I for one, (being in favour of doing deals) would vote for this option if the only other option was no deals. I dont think I would be the only one too!!!

IMO, 2 to 1 in favour of deals.

Do you know how to add up Ken?

Why are we hating? You think about it... everytime we play a decent team we get torn apart, just not good enough. The italian way to play football is a poor way to play it, hence why we don't win by many.

I think Harry will take it though, but don't think it is as cut and dry as many people think. Harry has been waiting a long time for a job like the one he has now, so will he quit Spurs for a a position, which in the last few years seen managers downgrade their career.
