I don't quite understand why people are so against potential nationalisations. Yes, they're going to cost money, but in a reported I read two days ago, it said they would get there money back within years. Not only that but broadband, gas and public transport need a kick up the ass.

I'm also happy to see an increase in health and social care. I don't know if any of you noticed this year, but a mother and father killed their kids in Sheffield in May and I live across the road from them. It has been a complete eye opener to see the complete and utter failure of social services in what could have prevented their horrific deaths.

Sure it's going to cost money. I get it.

But you know what? People matter.

I genuinely think the Labour manifesto is going to change things. It really is something else. How can you work in the public sector and not vote for them? My personal belief is that manifesto is just going to stop people from being able to go from Labour to Conservative and I think Lib Dem movers might think twice too.

I really do think Labour are going to do a lot better than people think. I am absolutely all over the over 200s at evens.

There is a widely accepted belief that successful change comes through evolution not revolution.

Corbyn is certainly going for the revolution route. The list of promises is long and financially pretty scary.

I think the public will see them as a fantasy wish list. It plays perfectly into the narrative that Labour can’t be trusted with the economy.

Of course it’s seen by some as a fantasy wish list, but to those struggling which box to tick as either leave or remain, they may just tick the Labour box. I could see plenty of public sector staff doing this for the increase.

But also the costing of their manifesto have been quoted as fair and can fund his wish list. Along with nationalising been quoted as being able to pay for itself in 8 (I think) years

I genuinely think that labour will smash 200, but still lose seats from 2017

Feel as if Corbyn might just win that. Slow starter though.

What’s the possibility of a remain government if Labour had joined the remain alliance?

The Sheffield Hallam seat looks like one of the most interesting

2017:

Labour - 21,881
Lib Dem - 19,756
Con - 13,561

You have to fancy that’ll be a comfortable winback for the Lib Dems - a majority of only 2,000 to turn over in a seat they held for 20 years against an almost certainly topped out Labour vote and a good chunk of 13,000 Tory votes they can tap up for voters who disagree with the hard-right Tory turn but who don’t want to see Corbyn as PM.

Currently 1/3 with Ladbrokes, which I’d be taking.

It's also Jared O'Mara's seat which he won for Labour, then went independent after resigning from Labour, plus a bunch of other mini scandals that followed him around, so quite the tarnished seat for Labour. That 1/3 looks pretty good IMO.

I think LD would win it, but it's a seat that surely has a lot of new voters since 2017 considering it's a seat with plenty of new students.

But it would also have had a load of those who were students in 2017 have graduated and moved away

Lib Dem’s are throwing the kitchen sink at Sheffield Hallam.

Think I’ve had 4 or 5 letters or leaflets from them in last few weeks.

1/3 looks like the sort of short price value Arbboy used to talk about.

The problem in predicting this seat is that voters come and go. That constituency has a high percentage of voters and students who choose to stay there.

I do wonder how many prior will go to the polls and wonder where their vote is best placed? Regardless, 2017 we still a Brexit election & Labour won that and the LD’s was still anti-Brexit

I think it all depends on the disgraced JOM and his people perceive that

A couple of days ago I asked Facebook who they are voting for by just naming their party only. It got 40 comments the last time I looked.

Most of it was predictable, but I was surprised that not one person said they would for Brexit Party.

I’m not surprised to see that Prince Andrew supported Brexit.

Of the many tweets I've seen over the last few days I was surprised to see one from Paul Brand where Labour MP's have told him that they seem to be doing well on the doorstep. It's very surprising and if of course it's correct, then you've got to wonder if the Labour collapse is still likely.

Brexit Party have moved out of Tory seats - So Labour leavers still struggling to find a political home and as much as they may want to leave, would still never tick the blue party box. Therefore the move by the Brexit Party isn't what it seems.

I genuinely think Labour aren't going to get hammered in this election and I think they will be comfortably over 220 seats. Anything significantly more and that unlikelyness of Labour getting in turns into a distinct possibility, backed up by 80 MP's from LD and SNP.

Like whiter than white Donald, then. They're all double busy when it suits their own ends.

She's got some kind of book out with her nipper, so no shock she's putting herself about a bit again.

Exactly the same thing applies to Trump.

Not his place or hers to interfere in British politics.

Why not Hillary? She’s a private citizen with no political job - bit different from the President wading in.

Hilary Clinton has always been progressive and strive for equality, Donald Trump has not

It’s something I’m not surprised a leave voter has said. Pretty funny really, considering they’ve been nowhere when Trump has been sticking his nose in

Oh dear. More nonsense Aaron. I think Trump is a bully and a shambles as a president. Is that a leave voters view? Not every issue has a direct correlation with how people voted on Brexit ffs.

As for Clinton and her progressive views and striving for equality, that’s nonsense too - she had vastly different views on gay rights in 2008 and has since changed. “Always progressive” is just more nonsense.

She has multiple skeletons in the closet but decides to lecture us on democracy. It’s a joke.

The things is Richard is that Trump has been poking his nose in British politics and yet no word from you. He’s stopped transgender from being in the army.

There are plenty of blunders from political folk everywhere, but you choose Clinton instead of trump and Abbott over any MP.

Not sure what gay rights have to do with the conversation.

I’m just saying what I see.

Things must be really bad at Stoke if they think O’Neill is a good appointment. More unattractive football in Stoke. No wonder Stoke fans aren’t bothering to turn up.

There's some absolute bloopers from MP's lately

Keir Starmer asked by Piers Morgan if he's a millionaire, says no, then confirms his house is worth over £1m.

Rees Mogg just said Grenfell victims lacked common sense

Dianne Abbott agreeing with closing private schools, but admit her kids went

Raab dreadful handling of the lad who was killed in car accident by US "diplomat"

Swinson shouting victim every day and accusing ITV of sexism

Mark Francois generally

I'm sure we can name more, not sure if Rees Mogg will stay in position?
