Does at trip to Wembley for the play off final constitute a little adventure? It certainly does! Tickets sorted, offsprings included for what hopefully will be a great day. So readers, what's your favourite Wembley experience and why?

Just want to agree with TiKay's previous post. In a world where everyone is swamped with data through Facebook,Twitter etc there seems to be a ferocious appetite to absorbe content rather than create it or even acknowledge those who take the time and effort to create it. I for one have had immense enjoyment from this diary and whilst I know you may at times feel your efforts just go into a black hole of indifference that's not the case.
When Ed kicked off our diary I had little idea how much joy it would give me over time and although it's currently a little dormant once Bingo is back in training or me and the boy scrape out time for an 'adventure' we will resurect.
So what I am saying is keep on keeping on. The diary is like a long standing friend in a world of indifference.

Thanks for the updates Alex. For those stuck in the world of traditional work they provide a slight break from the other grind. It's a great spot and doesn't have to cost the earth. Good luck on the next trip.

Right,I have no idea about thread etiquette but I am with the prawn sandwich brigade at Cheltenham this afternoon and need some tips. The boy has suggested Rolling Maul in the 4.10. But when I did my due digence and see where he came in the Blonde Cheltenham Tipster competition it's put me off staking even a fiver. So mad punting blondes, where do I put my money?

Bingo's next outing will not be at Chepstow on Monday but Newbury on Friday on Saturday next week.
Will keep his army of fans informed as soon as the trainer decides which one gives us the best chance of a result.

Well it looks like the next outing for Bingo will be Monday 28th March at Chepstow or Saturday 2nd April at Newbury. Both races will be 2m,both nice big galloping tracks that we know he likes. Oh what fun.
Next week sees the boy off to Cheltenham on Tuesday and Wednesday with me carrying the family flag on Thursday and maybe Friday if my liver can take it. I am sure Ed has loads of tips for Cheltenham. These must be avoided at all costs. Don't say I didn't warn you. He can sound very credible.

Had a txt last night from the boy informing me that Bingo has 'gone up 11lbs'  to 125. He describes this as a handicapping disaster. On the positive side it means he will be able to enter some fun Saturday races. More news to follow on a diary which will end at Cheltenham.............

What a hero Tighty is to post these excellent snaps. He may also have spotted that the silks have as their base the 1966 SWFC football strip.

I have been reliably informed by people who know that there is no joy like being at a major English racecourse on a winter Saturday and watching a horse that you part own race on to victory. The unbridled joy and emotion, the endless champagne in the winners enclosure and the knowing nods of the various attendee's quietly acknowledging that you have a live one in the sport of kings. I am also informed that such experiences are incredibly rare and should not be missed. They should certainly not be missed for a disappointing football match where your team ( robbed of their Argentinian magician) fall to a 'orrible squad quickly learning to play the Warnock way.
I was reflecting on my poor decision making as I ambled back to the car quietly removing the parking ticket from the windscreen without drawing breadth. My inability to get a wifi connection at the match also robbed me of a definite £100 at 20/1. At the poker last night I was asked if it had any chance and answered very honestly...........no chance. However I am pleased to report that a couple of players had a 'sweat' and have turned a little profit.
My phone was lit up by fellow syndicate members who seemed very happy indeed. Apparently Bingo followed the game plan and Wayne is a top jockey. I am trying to find if there is a way of watching a recording of the race. If any of the Blonde know how to do this let me know or even better post a link.
What a fantastic result. He won. He only bloody won.

So this afternoon will see Bingo's handicap debut in the 4pm at Newbury. If you've seen The Racing Post this morning you will see he's not fancied at all. He is also 8th out of 9 in the betting. So if he finishes ahead of 8th we will have really showed them.
We have Wayne Hutchinson on board who should really be able to help Bingo with his jumping. What we know is that he's got a decent engine ( stamina if not speed) and that he can plug away. He can actually jump and although a little accident prone he has some heart. Apparently we are going to try and 'keep him handy' and go for a positive run. There's a long straight at Newbury and thus should allow for a decent gallop. So happy Blondes pile on each way and see you at the cash out desk.
The other news is that I have decided to visit my 85 yr old man instead followed by a trip to Hillsborough to watch the game against Rotherham. It's just none stop top quality sporting events for me.

Last night they announced a 1pm start several times.
