At the Bolton G last night and something happed, as it was no ruling had to be made we was just discussing the ruling after.
A player bet out of turn, he actualy called but meant to raise, not that it matters.
So the decision was on the player to his left who in this case folded, so the out of turn bet stood.
In talking about the hand after, all the table and the TD said that the players chips would stay in the pot whatever the player to his RIGHT had decided to do.
I dissagreed with them, I said if the player to his RIGHT called then the chips would stay in but if the player had raised then the out of turn better could take his chips back then decide what to do.
My interpritation of the rule is the bet stands unless the action has changed.
The TD said the G casino rule would be the chips stay in whatever, not a problem with this if this is the G's ruling.
But in the rules of poker I am 100% sure that I am right (unless they have been changed).
What do you think ?.
