Other than the 3bet being too large I think you played this hand fine. If he has a small pair then you certainly dont fold out aq or probably aj so vs bare a-clubs we are in good shape as well. FWIW don't be results orientated, Villain has played this hand horrifically!

Pleno's line is optimal flatting to induce.
I'm not 3bet folding 99 here, I'm not 3bet folding anything vs this stack, its too easy for people to jam loads of A-highs and worse pairs when their short and not very good.

Call turn, reevaluate river for me. (with no reads) If he bets river really big then fold, if he bets small then happily flick it in, he can value bet worse when he bets on the smaller side, but when he bets big he's flopped a flush a lot or turned top 2.
However if your read is that he is super strong then just fold, no need to ask imo, we don't have nut redraws either.

Is Villain good?
Why have we checked flop? It makes our decision harder because our hand looks exactly what it is and as though you are going for thin(ish) value, which means we can get bluffed a decent amount.
If he's not very good I would expect to see 66 or 44 a lot. So I would call if he's good and fold if he's bad.......sometimes!

As played this river is a jam or £75/fold imo.
Bet/calling is bad here I think, we're never getting exploited if we bet/fold this river I think he's going to flat A10 more than he will jam (and more likely ro raise turn with this hand)
Check/call is worst option surely, we just lose loads of value from loads of hands we beat on this board.
