agree with most of the above...re entry on another day is ok but not a fan of same day re entry.
only ever played a live rebuy and add on tournament once and hated the idea so haven't played one since.

I know the 'seats included' is a road DTD have gone down and fully understand the reasoning but really dislike this aswell and would much prefer the prize pool just be prize winnings.

By chopping 1 hour+ out of the early levels level 25 will obviously start just over an hour earlier...hopefully this will ensure a good hour earlier finish - sounds good to me  thumbs up.

...will let you know tomorrow after I bink the micro

Couldn't quite bink the micro but got a respectable 5th...knocked out around midnight so a slightly earlier finish than the previous structure

unfortunately i pre registered the mini and micro early with tokens...logged on to find i am no longer regged and no $22 token in the pot to use.

Re regged the micro but got no token for the mini...and obviously missed the chance (although rather remote in my case) to final table both for the heads up bonus chance.

will keep an eye on it incase it appears later on.

Before the challenge they used to finish about eleven but as the challenge has seen a big increase in players (an obvious success) even starting at seven they go on very late...final tabled in eighth at the weekend and that was one o'clock - up at six with work most days

A 7pm turboonce a week midweek would be good 😀

15,000 chips away.....I bet you've made it by the weekend 👍

Just noticed...we're in!!!

They both finish too late for me now so only got one or two days a week to play with work, so a great achievement inside three weeks

Not too worried about the teams seemingly going for a gazillion chips but it would be handy to see an average stack for those qualified (without having to do a ridiculously long sum). 😀

Is there any way of checking individual progress on the booster chips....able to complete four out of six and have done two but wasn't sure which of the other two I need to complete or how far off completing them I was

Bust in 321st for a min cash

crippled with KQ v AK on KTT flop then ran my last 12bb into the blinds with 22 from the button, called by AQ which hit quads! lol

Anyone else make day 2?

a cash is a cash...well done

waited 4.5 hours for a seat yesterday then busted before lunch...it wasn't my greatest moment but was a learning curve in never bothering to hang around on a long alternates list EVER EVER again.

FYI

Anyone en route - I arrived at 11:00 and I am 166th on the alternates list, 800 regged - and I thought I was early!

Views please

I am a 40ish year old recreational player and tend to play live 5-8 times a year, I enjoy playing live  for the majority of the time.

In recent years I've seen old friends/ work colleagues pass away through various illnesses who were the same age as me so decided I fancied doing the Vegas poker trip ...I would love to take the wife but the aim is to go for ten days and include a Omaha hi/lo and deep stack wsop event if they timed right and then a few daily toureys/side events and I know if I did take my wife I would play less and want to do stuff with her which would defeat the purpose of wanting to go.

So I've been a bit torn but would be happy to go it alone with her blessing.

View time
I played the Goliath twice this week and both times eavesdropped in on conversations from players who went this year, very negative views along the lines of shove fests due to starting stacks, far too busy, staff not interested unless you are a millionaire, being ripped off at every turn...it went on.

For those who go regular or have been this year for the first time...is it a great place and time to go, were these views the minority, is it worth me planning the trip or would it be better to stick to some UK tournaments and take a nice holiday somewhere else instead
