Well said, Doobs.
These (formerly annual) staking threads are always lovely to read. Great to see how many lives tikay has touched and how many people want to see him do well.
So it's obvious everyone means really well here in what they've said.
Tikay's a big, strong boy and if he wants to carry a re-entry with him, he'll let everyone know. If he gets knocked out early (doubtless from some utterly hideous outdraw from the villain) and he wants to have another go, he'll post on the chat and I'm sure some people will chip in if they want to.
I'm not in the stake, but I neither want to see tikay feel bad or to feel compelled to do something he doesn't want to do. I also don't want so many people who wish him well to feel put out by this message, which is as well-intentioned as yours have been.

The crux of this trial is Rooney needing to actually prove Rebekah's foul-play even though I doubt many think she is innocent at this point.
So even if the judge awards her the insulting token £1 in damages the Rooneys will still have to pay the £2M combined legal costs.
Really? Wow. I'm not 100% certain but I believe that's how it works. Not necessarily. Will be a separate decision. There's a general principle that the loser pays, but who the loser is in a case where someone wanted a lot of money and got £1 isn't cut and dry. https://www.civillitigationbrief.com/2017/05/30/costs-at-the-end-of-the-case-who-is-the-real-winner-and-more-about-failing-to-prove-damages/Also, the amount you get isn't always 100%, as there's an assessment process. Hi Simon, long time no see. Does this mean that the judge could award Rebekah the derisory £1 in damages yet still lumber her with the lion's share of the costs? Of her own costs, possibly. The default is you get most of your costs if you win, though

I can recommend virgin's WhatsApp service, having used it a few months ago. They contact you when it's your turn, so you don't have to listen to the same three songs for half your day.
I think this is no longer in use. If you fill a flight change form in online there is the option for them to come back to you via sms, which like the old WhatsApp service seems to work as once they text you can have a good back and forth about what your looking for. Oh, that's a shame. Apologies.

Just back from a first ever March trip. It's peak season alright, the place was rammed.
Everything has just about reopened now. Had to do a covid test at Heathrow going out but they lifted the requirement to re-enter the UK while I was away, so coming back was easier.
The poker rooms at Planet Hollywood, Excalibur, Luxor and Mirage are all RIP. The only $1-$2 left on the strip is at the MGM. Everywhere else is 1-3.
Aria daily is now a 20-minute clock, which is a shame. They scrapped the evening comp too but that might have been down to the high rollers series. MGM evening tourney is comedy. Advertised as a $100, $5k guaranteed, 20-min clock 25k chips. What they don't tell you is there's a 100k add-on for $100 at the second break.
Great to be back out there.
The room at Mirage, right next to the sportsbook, on the main thoroughfare through the casino near the entrance from the strip, was prime real estate and always had a good chance of being used for something else. Shame, nevertheless.
