Just to say that all the advice in this thread has been invaluable to us sorting out this trip and securing a good deal. So thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Arriving on the BA flight just after 15:00 and staying at TI, so I guess plenty of time to head over and reg, just want to be confident we can get in. Was a bit worried it might be full ahead of the day as it is the last 2 flights.

Sounds like pre reg is the way to go, just didn't really have a handle on how busy it would be! Thanks for the advice.

Just seen that pre registration is open for WSOP events, with associated charges.

http://www.wsop.com/registration/default.aspx

Will be heading out for the first time and planning to play the Collosus, arriving on the Friday and playing the last flight day on the Saturday. Any experience on how straight forward it is to register in person or if worth pre registering on line? Assuming will be v busy live especially as it's the last day!

This is an amazing top tip, flight prices early June have been just over 800 direct. I am now getting prices inc the hop from Stansted to Dublin, 7 nights at Treasure Island, bundled with BA for under£700 departing 3rd June. Is there anything to stop me ditching the final leg back to Dublin on the return? Wouldn't have any hold luggage so guess I just leave Heathrow and jump on the train home!

Does anyone have any experience of the Westjet flights? We are looking to head out early June and can get connecting flights with them for£550,BA are £780 and Virgin £880 but obv direct. Just trying to weigh up if the Saving is worth the the hassle as it will be an extra 5/6 hours.

Just to be aware the latest email from Glen states that when pre reg your chips are in play from start NOT on arrival. This is contrary to other Advice on here. Guessing this is due to the expected numbers for 1b

Is there any chance the day 1b will fill up? Gonna reg with a token at the desk so can't do it in advance but want to make sure I get in! (Thin I got a token brag)

Will be travelling up as normal on the Friday and notice you have 2 day ones running at both 13:00 & 17:00 that day.  Is it possible to reg and play in both?  Obv if you bust the 1st its no issue but if you have a good run in the 1st what time do you expect it to finish.  Never tried multi tabling live!

Love the grand prix! playin a few GC so hopefully make the Sunday.  Done the last 2 and its a great weekend.  Have reg'd to come up to play live on the Sat and stay over, but if I qualify this week on line, are there any side tourneys later on the Sat or just cash (maybe a bit optimistic but thought i'd ask)?  Seem to remember a £25 tourney last GP on the Sat.
