I am not calling you a racist. It is a sensitive subject and perhaps some initial justification apart from the later suggestion that a disproportionate number of the alleged perpetrators of offences on crimewatch were non Caucasian might have produced less of a reaction

It doesn't matter if the guilty party was foreign or not, it's the damage done to the innocent by association that's so unforgivable.

For instance, a random Gypsy might have a 2/1 higher conviction rate than the average citizen, but that is probably because he has been suspected, stopped, checked, searched, blamed and investigated 10 times as often.

When you are actually innocent and law abiding, it's a terrible thing to be suspected solely because of your ethnicity.

The media is the worst offender here. If Mr White British commits a crime, the main story is the crime itself. If someone from a minority group commits a crime the story revolves around his ethnicity.

I was thrilled to see that several members were willing to voice their disapproval.

We all have a responsibility to challenge this type of bigotry, it breeds hate and brings untold misery.

Obviously I won't waste any more of my time with Adzy, but I'm sure you can see my point.

I used to have a fair amount of time for you Tom ,but when you've first sounded like my stompy nieces calling me names and then with the most childish 'have a nice life' finish,  I was very disappointed.

Now to taint me as a potential gypsy hater, by your very association with me in your story, really is the pits.

You actually seem delighted someone has given you a platform to talk about intolerance.

Not wasting your time with me? Wow. You seem very intolerant for someone preaching tolerance.....

Nothing more to say on the subject, and I will try very hard not to react to any other comments, so bitch away gents.

Tom asked you a few times to explain your comment to understand your logic but you haven't.
Saying you think they are non English without any basis for this appears ignorant/racist. Comments like this increase hate crime without any basis. Just because you haven't been called racist before doesn't mean your comments aren't racist.

Again. Oh dear.

Why do you have to get so nasty so quickly?

I have expressed an opinion. I don't consider that being a troll.

I find it childish that people always call out others as trolls when they have their point of view disagreed with.

I make thousands of posts on here, are they all troll posts, as that is the intimation?

You put a post up in which you ackonwledged that you were going to piss people off.   Your understanding of trolling seems as poor as your understanding of racism.

Surely it was the 'understanding' of irony that was the standout?

Jesus. This place.

I wanted to express my opinion. My right, yes?

However, I could almost feel the teeth grinders loving the chance to get stuck into a post like that. However as one of those people that feels like society frowns upon certain types of free speech, i knew I was gonna get some some racist call outs. I'm no racist, and just because I make a statement you dont like, Im not a troll either. I wont follow you round calling you out wherever you are, I am just standing my corner on this point. Why am I not allowed to express this opinion?

Yes, wrong use of irony.....see, I can admit I am wrong....very few here can.....Sorry I used the wrong word. Sorry, probably one of the least used words used on Blonde!

Now. Is Tom going to tell me why he got so angry so quickly with someone who has never had a cross word with him over many years?

Of course you can express an opinion but when it doesn't appear to be based on any facts it just comes off as racist.

The culture is just so different over there and I doubt it will ever change. Guns plus drink is a pretty scary thought. Wonder if the statistics back up the rape at gunpoint being on the increase claim?

Well even if the stats are true, surely a shootout isn't the answer, and if you're in a bar full of drunk dudes don't pull a gun to protect yourself, just leave the fucking bar...

The American mindset is very different to ours. They are very passionate about their right to bear arms. I struggle to get my head round it. After an incident in the US where most of us in the UK are thinking that guns should be banned or better regulated, gun sales in fact go up!

Troy Deeney said Arsenal lack cojones in BT sports interview. Quite interesting for an opposing player to say that in public.

September began with 11 pages of OMG OMG OMG, but 5 wins from 6 in the month (and a draw away to Chelsea) killed the thread.

blonde is doomed, I fear.

All games you would expect them to win though

Master Bates ITT.

Stick to cricket, sunshine. Explain how Middlesex fell so spectacularly from grace this season.

I would rather discuss how the mighty eagles won the league!

Would love to see them take a shot on Hamed - started to look more like his old self towards the end of the season and has the temperament to be the long term successor to Strauss we have been searching for.

Also think our woes at 5 would be resolved by moving Bairstow there and bringing in Foakes ( who is also no slouch with the bat - look at his first class average!). He is an outstanding gloveman and with no disrespect to Bairstow would add value in that aspect. Bairstow is more than good enough to bat at 5 as a specialist batsman and would bolster our betting slightly.

A middle order of Bairstow, Stokes, Moeen, Foakes, Woakes would be sensational!

Who bats at 3?

I like the idea of moving Bairstow up to 5 and playing him as a batsman.

saw this in a Lee Davy article on CalvinAyre.com...

partypoker Change Satellite Seat Distribution Rules

partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) have changed their rules covering the winning of multiple seats in online satellites to partypoker LIVE! events.

From Monday night, duplicate seats won by a single individual can now be sold or transferred for free to another player, increasing the likelihood that online satellite victories turn into more bums on seats for partypoker LIVE! events.

partypoker will handle the admin, but they won’t handle any cash transfers.

====

Any more details or has it been officially announced somewhere? Maybe I missed it mentioned on here or maybe only just happened!

Seems very good for certain stables.

Petr Cech has conceded more goals in 3 years at Arsenal than he did in 11 years at Chelsea

Is it true you have sold 240% of yourself at the SPT to get some of the money required to repay investors?

Correct.

Did you see the thread on 2+ 2 where a kid sold 200% of himself in the WSOP Main Event.......then cashed for $40,000?

How do you even begin to explain that? Is it that hard to dump off shy of the money?

I could of given him lessons on how to dust off a stack!

in that thread I saw this

"better than overselling is making swaps with a lot of people

here in my country a guy used to do that, swaping 10% with a lot of players on a tourney, bust and freeroll for 10% of them

he was caught when he had 10% of 7 out of 9 from final table than people starting asking each other if they made the swap and found 58 players that did"
