FWIW Keys makes very important points on the staking boards. Yeh he comes across as arrogant but the guy is actually very intelligent and if he wasn't a poker player he would probably be knees deep in the Higgs Boson or something.

Anybody got any strategy pointers for these tournaments?

Appreciate its very stake dependant.

A question:

Say its ante of 500, (4500 in pot). What would be a standard open here? Tried most things between 500-pot with little success.

Assume its fine to limp every other hand we dont open with? Shocked at some players folding for 5 into a 5k pot. Surely players these days can't be that stupid?

Big game for DTD Degens on wednesday. Here's the league table with 3 games to go.

And we're playing the Academy this week. Come on boys!

And the ringer of the season award goes to....

If i lost a leg and a min cash meant i could buy it back, fix it back on and be normal again, i would still be allin here.

Just a massive sigh at this whole fkin series. Just bust 5.50. CL 3b me 3/5 hands consequetive, 3rd hand it goes in with KQdd and he has the aces. Flop flush draw and fade like a true champ.

$3 6m coming up and i will pretty much be tilt shoving every hand

Was just in the sixmax turbo. Played first 50 hands, made 2 pairs, run both into set in obscure circumstances.

Will give the $1r a bash in 30 min, not full of confidence though

I think you should jam river.

He just checks all his hands with showdown value, and would probably call a shove with any hand he value owns himself with when you check the river.

He would likely ditch bare diamond draws to this big bet on the turn, and doubt he turns combo draws into a bluff too often.

River is a sigh call, as he jams worse sets and perhaps some 2 pairs he has played passively, and a small chance he could be spazzing, but we def see a flush or JQ here plenty.

Defo this. didn't realise we checked but yeh you will go insane if you only value bet nuts on the river, easy after a few bad hands to get in the mindset of 'oh i bet they got it' and just tilt fold.
