I wish! Obviously been busto loads of times and never minded admitting it, just an occupational hazard.

Was always taught to say "under it, doing no good" by the old school guys anyway.

Willie Tann takes this to extremes, cos he doesnt know who he owes and how much- he has to instantly reply to anyone asking how he is "No good, doing terrible"- I asked him once in general conversation, and he replied his standard line, he had won 2 tournys in 4 nights in London lol but is so trained at saying no good, it just comes out automatically

Ahh those were the good days. Willie once tried to nip me in Vegas for my last 20 bucks. He should learn to choose his marks better.

Yep obviously but Marc hasn't been decent enough to admit it yet.

And he never will.

It's all part of the act and lies.

Admitting he was potless doesn't sit well with the balla Marc  Wright superstar image, does it?

He thinks it's more important to be *the man*, than to be honest.

Is Dubai busto?

At last count Dubai was known to have £4-5m just in the bank. Rumours he has $2m tied up in FTP and refuses to hold less than $10m on stars. The guy is bonkers

Just a huge sigh that i got a ban for swearing at someone, and this plank can grim people, talk utter bollocks and then not get a ban. Administrators - seriously get your ship in order, remove helmets like this and stop banning people who come out with a slightly controversial comment once in a blue moon.

Thanks for that. I'm sure that if you were making the decisions, everyone would agree with you all of the time.

For the record, we ban people for swearing at someone. We do not ban people for talking bollocks because that would mean banning most of the members, myself included.

We do not take responsibility for people's financial arrangements.

Lastly, how does swearing at someone become 'a slightly controversial comment' in the space of one short paragraph?

It means having a pop at somebody who is covered by the forcefield of the blondepoker clique (yourself included). Yes i am sure saying that will mean people hate me, but i have a life outside of BPF so i'm not really that bothered.

Nothing personal to anyone, just the clique thing here is pretty cringeworthy. Everytime a clique member posts something moderately interesting, mass brownosing occurs, whereas as insightful, beneficial posts by other less 'integral' members are often overlooked.

Sorry if this comment encroaches on what is acceptable and what's not. If so, delete/edit it and ban me for life. In the meantime, continue to allow scamming members to aquire financial support and feel great about it.

The way Marc has conducted himself on blonde has been good - I buy pieces here knowing about Marc's past and knowing that he's done some bad things recently. I accept the risk but actually much happier that he conducts himself more properly through blonde than he does in private.

There are several members of the 'clique' as you put it that don't get along. The clique argument is boring anyway as it's the reason for a lot more positives than negatives on the site.

Possibly so mate. I just find it restricts other insightful posters from speaking their mind due to fear of a backlash

I do admire Tikay though. Very honourable, interesting and crucial part of this forum. Will try not to derail thread anymore (although i think in a roundabout way, its linked).

Careful!

Nothing personal of course, but there is a chance you might be accused of brown nosing, and if people agree with you, it could even be construed as mass brown nosing.

Before you know it, you could be an integral member and part of the BPF clique.

Wouldn't that be cringe-worthy?

I would brown nose you if i didn't have to read stories of how back in the day you rode your penny farthing and some chav had a pop at you, after a mile of cycling down the road you felt a need to turn bak and scare the shit out of them.

Each to their own though and no hard feelings.

I'm not 100% certain what that means, but if you are suggesting I'm currently wearing very uncomfortable shoes, I'd agree.

I deffo got them plates spinning & hats juggling right now. Wink

I just find you an interesting person with good judgements, you do a lot for the poker community and seem to work tirelessly forthe benefit of others. Of course, feel free to correct me if i am wrong :-)

Why wasnt he banned after the first round of grimming?

It's off-forum stuff.

We're not the mods of real life.

I don't understand why you would want somebody of his nature as part of your community though?

Also regarding your post on 2p2...

LOL
There is 100% no way I did, or would have swapped 5% with Lewis in that torny. I didn't have tons of myself, and I wouldn't swap with someone who is a hugely inferior mtt player.
I am playing live at the moment, so will reply properly web in room. Internet is pretty bad here.
Marc

It comes across very bad. I genuinely think you are a very nice guy and enjoy talking but talking like this and being semi arrogant so soon after the last incidents will make people just think you're a cock when in reality you are spending alot of time/money into rectifying your image.

Lewis had given you a hotel room after never meeting you before and you had an instant bond/friendship so swapping 5% when you're at your first Ept And moral is high is not totally out of the question, but I don't doubt that is a normal state of mind online or smth that you'd never swap.

So horrible you describe people as 'hugely inferior player'.

Get some respect for people especially if they 'pay your wages'.

You must be the only person who is amongst the elite of the world who has to be backed for mediocre stars schedules. Get another hobby in life and play less poker. Might make you a better person.

Hope Marc comes on here and at least gives his side of events and then pays up.

What's the point?

It will just be more bullshit excuses.

If ever a man needed to quit gambling, it's Marc Wright.

Some of the schedules he posts are just sheer degenerative lunacy. Also have no time for anyone who will happily say how great they are constantly on a public forum.

How can we possibly have this go to court?

I have just read that his maximum penalty is a £2,500 fine. For this we get 5 days in court? 5 days!!?!!?!?!?! How is that in the public interest? We pay to see this public circus, an for what, and pocket change fine? Is this some kind of joke?

The punitive (knock on) repercussions should be irrelevant in a decision as to whether this goes to trial. What public benefit is there in either outcome?

If convicted i think the FA can fine a lit more + obviously ban him for a period of time. Disagree with it not being in the public's interest. Pretty sure unless Terry is the most misunderstood person in the world, he deserves some fairly hefty punishment.

The CPS shouldn't be making decisions on what the Fa might do

I think it will be the FA that decide what to do based on what the CPS do
