63  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Dtd multi way action? on: May 13, 2013, 07:04:02 PM
For me you shouldn't be allowed to do this in multi way pots

More worrying is the fact the dealer didn't even know?  A rule/standing change is ok but needs to be communicated properly to all dealers and players imo

From memory there were about 55-60 runners and about 18 left?
Could be wrong though. Chipleader had over 200k

You are correct

Think it got 58 in the end.

68  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: 30nl Pocket Tens. on: April 24, 2013, 06:56:07 PM

Table is a fairly tough one for 30nl. 5/6 of the players are winning regs if not all 6.

unreg pre. its 30nl and you are playing vs 5 winning players?

100% this

Lol at the vuvuzela! An powdered nesquik at the ready wtf?

Not looked at the specs, get an SSD an plenty of ram. Poker machines really dont need to be that high end, its very easy to get carried away though

Dont do it, no money there, everyone's solid Smiley

Pretty easy deposit/cash out although a bit off knacker ache setting up the account verification as you have to email off some docs. Afaik you cannot transfer dough from stars to stars.fr

71  Poker Forums / Learning Centre / Re: Jennifear Push/Fold Chart on: April 23, 2013, 11:13:25 PM
yeah, agreed its extremely difficult to adjust. Sorry if I didnt quite understand your point before

However, you cannot just follow GTO charts to the letter as explained before. If you want to, thats fine and in certain situations, as you correctly point out, where adjustments are extremely marginal then its not hurting you too much. In practice though, players (especially at micro stakes) are playing so far from GTO you have to adjust. How you do this is through study off the tables playing with the ranges in different spots, and a lot of practice Smiley

This is my understanding of the theory anyway, maybe someone better than me can chime in and correct me

no antes I'm definitely not shipping 21bb here... its probably +EV to jam but feels like too much risk for such little reward.

I wouldnt fold either as we are ahead of his range so much. I think both flatting and 3 betting have merit here, and in game I'd probably take control of the pot with a 3bet and c-bet most flops after his inevitable flat. Flatting is probably fine too
73  Poker Forums / Learning Centre / Re: JJ 90 man SnG on: April 23, 2013, 10:52:48 PM
most of time I'd 3 bet here to about 1.4k

while he is UTG, its 7 handed and he has a big stack so is probably opening pretty wide here I'd assume. We have a premium on the button so I'd be looking to build a pot

Ok yes, the blinds may squeeze if you flat and they have great stack sizes for that. I just doubt many players in $2 90 mans are squeezing light here, but could be wrong. Its more likely they will both call and then we are 4 ways which is not ideal
