I met Jamie Burland last year. He used the words "for real" in situations where I would say "yes" or "I quite agree".

Better still, he said "for real" like it was one word. Imagine if this woman had wandered past...

...and you said to him "oh, Jamie, look! That's that actress that used to be in Brookside and many other excellent programmes: Anna...something". He'd answer and you wouldn't be sure whether he was answering your question or just agreeing that it was Anna Something.

What irks me most is that he carried it off completely. Folk like me have difficulty getting a "sick" through without comic rebuke, but I suspect Mr Burland could stroll past with an armful of "'sup"s, "an wot?"s and "tru dat"s and no one would bat an eyelid.

Should be a fun show.

Hahahahahha. I love this! I was Jamie's best man. This has cracked me up. He's the last man alive I can imagine getting a 'sup through. He does play out the odd watchya though - like some sort of 80s Grange Hill character. It must be a South East London thing.

Brilliant.

I went for a curry with Jamie and his mrs to be and Bad Beat Channing.

When the bill came, Neil thought up a very complicated numbers game to decide who was going to pay.

Jamie's goirlfriend looked confused and said "I don't understand, what is happening Jamie?"

"I don't really understand either" he replied "But it looks like we're paying for dinner" Before the game had actually started. Smiley

sup. Thanks for the kind words and funny story Cheesy

between them they have 15 bracelets in 16 years but yea, surely harder to win one now than in 1998.
I think it's pretty close, and have had a small bet on Daniels side but at 5/4. They're both entering the One Drop which has 56 runners so one of them probably wins that about 7-9% of the time

I thought it was an excellent episode, I literally jumped up out my chair at the part with the baby, and the Andrea bit got emotional Smiley

Agree this is the right time to stop, will be much missed but would be pretty much impossible to keep this standard up.

Going to be an epic finish, no idea what will happen.

I thought he was going to use her as a persuader, never though he was just going to kill her out on the street!

Not a clue what will happen, but I'm guessing the Ricin is for the Nazis and Walt is going in the final episode too.

I'm guessing the reason Andrea got shot was to give Jesse a reason to team up with Walt against the Nazis.

Definitely logical.

No way, it's Walt's fault that the Nazis know anything about Andrea. Jesse will blame him for her death.

Walter uses ricin on Lydia, he puts it in her tea which is why there's been so many references to her tea drinking.

Don't know who the machine gun is for. Seems to obvious to think that Walt is just coming back to gun down the Nazis to get back his money.

Jesse will kill Todd and Walt and run off into the sunset adopting Brock i think.

Soviet - know this is a bit of fun and thanks for organising- but is there a way we can get round the slight advantage you get by having everyone send you their picks before you publish yours? Advantage is really marginal in the first weeks but could be massive with 3/4 players to go.

Could you perhaps send your pick to someone else first or we could all send our picks to a 3rd party/first bust out.

It's pretty sexist that the photos of men are handsome, clean cut guys just wearing clothes and the photos of women have to include large elements of nudity, sexy eyes and look like they have just had or are about to have sex. If you look at it from a feminist point of view... or from just the point of view that men and women are equal and should be treated on a level, then I think it's quite easy to see how these shots can be deemed quite demeaning towards women. In a vacuum, these shots are probably harmless, but that's why most everyday types of sexism aren't immediately called out as sexist. Individually they are easy to shrug off, but this sort of sexism appears so often and so frequently in so many everyday areas of life that it must be really tough as a girl or boy growing up to think of women as more than just sex objects.

Hi, I've made a bit of an error and double booked myself into two hotels for this trip and i'm past the free cancellation time. Before I cough up €119 for nothing I'm wondering if anyone would need a room at Flannery's from 6th Aug (Tuesdsay) checking out 11th August (Sunday). Here's their website http://www.flanneryshotelgalway.com/home.htm

I've paid £543.64 / €625 for that booking, if this looks alright to anyone who hasn't sorted their accom yet i'd happily take £500 / €578.

Cheers

nevermind, it's gone now

If anyone's looking for a cheap double room a few of my mates have a room spare. It's an appt with UKIPT regs, Owen Robinson, Kevin Williams, David Docherty and Chi Tsang. It's €150 till next Monday
