The boys are an absolute pleasure to watch. Strong and vibrant in all departments, including the bench, really enjoying this season.

A bargain rucksack - £6.500.

I think his response to the Sun tweet, “turned up wearing a horrific £6500 rucksack.....” of “could be worse, turning up carrying a Sun newspaper” was just pure class!

Definitely exciting times Tighty and September could be a season defining month. This squad is very strong and we have a wealth of riches in most positions. My only concern is upfront where if JV is missing for whatever reason we only really have Ihneacho to call on. With Slimani have a purple patch at Monaco it’s a shame we let him go and not Ihneacho imho.

As for Chelsea faltering at the mo I’ve not been over impressed with any of the big six outside MC and Liverpool so far.

Roll on October!

Can’t argue with any of that mate.

Have you ever known us have a stronger squad of players Tighty?

I certainly can’t remember having so many options for so many positions. Let’s hope we hit the ground running this season!!

If, a big if, we keep this team together next season is going to be a lot of fun.

such a lot of young attacking talent, attack minded manager, budget to strengthen

might lose maguire, chilwell, maddison and tielemans to the top six though

Hopefully each of the above might take note from Mahrez’s move and sit tight for the time being. Like you I’m looking forward to next season if we keep them all together mate - some very exciting young talent there.

Change thread Tikay to Rodgering on or getting Rodgers?

That the end of Puel?

You can’t blame Puel for shambolic defending by “professional” experienced defenders!

My main complaint with his team selection is why are we playing a defensive midfield against a bottom three club at home and then an attacking midfield away to a semi decent team?

Also surprised like many that Choudrey was left out

Whether players are elsewhere or about to be off loaded they are still under contract and being paid so should be available to play. Of course they can be injured but that can also happen in the gym tomorrow morning. The reason I thought it was a good call with Matty is it gave him a chance to to start to re-establish himself in an “easier” game

Iheanecho really is showing why Man City were happy to let him go. Seems so far off the pace and disinterested. Bringing Matty back seemed a great move but honestly not sure what he was doing bringing Kingy on tbh. The man deserves more than a bit part as a swan song for a club he has served so well. Ghezzal scored a cracker but was poor otherwise.

Fair enough playing a weakened side through tiredness etc but do Iborra and Silva have it in their contracts not to play in Wales? And where is Diabate?

Ndidi’s pass to Albrighton for the goal was vintage Leicester.

X amount of Leicester attacks that ended up with a back pass to the keeper - typical Puel and that is why the fans are getting so frustrated.

7/4 fav next manager to go

Poor old Vards can’t buy a goal in open play at the moment. All strikers go through it at some point and no doubt when he gets one he’ll probably get three! Tuesday will be interesting in terms of team selection as realistically this is/was our best chance of getting some silverware.

I watch every game from up in the Sierras and it seems these days as if we are a bit Jekyll and Hyde. One week decent to watch and the next drab and littered with mistakes, irrespective of the quality of opposition. Ihneacho just doesn’t really do it for me and bringing on Shinji with a couple of minutes to go and looking at a formation change yesterday smacked a bit of desperation. A valid comment I’ve read over and over again is no Plan B.

I like in many respects what Puel tried to install when he came in but a year down the line it’s proving hard to see it working. I hate Palace as well!!

Any thoughts after today Tighty?

Incredible scenes mate. My guess is with such a young squad many have not witnessed death of a close friend or family and that seemed evident in many faces. The respect shown by supporters of so many other teams has been overwhelming too. I can’t think of many other club chairman who would have stirred as much emotion.

I’m ashamed to admit now that I was on of those fans that shot from hip after Ranieri was sacked and felt the whole thing left a bad taste. It’s only now, and helped in part by Tighty’s superb write up that you realise how much that decision must have affected him personally too, but taken for the good of the club. I can think of few clubs at the highest level of English football who’s owners play such a fantastic and generous in the community where they are based.

It is truly a sad, sad time for football, horse racing and the Leicester community in general. RIP great man and if your Buddhist beliefs on rebirth are correct you will have earned an even better life than the one you have left behind.
