Commentators using a language us old guys understand would be good

It isn't, as from this week.12 levels on day 1 not 18 so bringing too many players back to pay everyone. I was just agreeing that for some the £400 for making day 2 was popular

Sorry to be a pedantic old fart but the banners on the website clearly state all day two players min cash"

Time to poke somebody?

Hi Rich

With the shorter day ones will players progressing to day two still get the min cash of £400?

No, the min cash is £400 but because there will be many more players on Sunday, it is not for all players

Thx for clarifying that mate. I couldn't find anything to say that the understanding had changed from last week but of course it makes sense. It might avoid unnecessary ill feeling it was made clear though. I know of a few that went on Sunday happy in the knowledge they had a few quid "waiting" so to speak but like I say I've probably missed the t&c change somewhere

I did the PCA a few years back and it was a fantastic event however much of the attraction of playing there was a stay at the Atlantis. To be frank it's a shithole. Over priced food and drinks even though the dollar was 1.65 at the time. Hotel rooms that were shabby and of a lower standard than the average IBIS. Staff and service worse than most - tried room service once and after waiting two hours - "there's a 30 minute delay at the moment" - it went back uneaten.

As for the changes from those wonderful people at Pokerstars the phrase "piss up and brewery" comes to mind.

A great point that

2-0 down at half time with 10 men, apparently really good second half. Demarai gray deserves more game time, helped change the game today

interested to see the red card and penalty decisions later, both very controversial it is said

I watched the entire game mate - the Vardy sending off was questionable. He went in two footed, got the ball and didn't touch another player??? Then the ref gave a few shocking decisions and had his yellow card in his hand more than his pocket. The boys just lost the plot and I was glad to see halftime before we lost another player. Then Ranieri went ballistic at the ref and Kasper dragged him away.

Whatever he said at halftime and they calmed down and went to work. The subs played well and I agree totally with the Gray comments. Certainly he is contributing more than Mahrez this season. At least we proved yet again that even with 12 against 10 we are a far better team than Stoke can ever dream to be!!

I hope we both get boots for Xmas because with all the suspensions we might get a call. I

An alternative route Tighty is Gatwick - Almeria and then you can get a direct flight from Almeria - Seville?

I've used Almeria airport and it's quite small but new. Very easy to get round and an overnight there will be cheap as chips that time of year.

Actually come to think of it I'm probably allowed to play. I popped in to pick up some dollars from a mate about a month ago so I'll qualify.

Good system. Unlucky Ralph Cheesy

Being a pedantic old sod does that mean visiting doesn't necessarily mean having played?

Don't start me off!

While I was in hospital for a few months I got the exact same email. I wrote to them explaining my situ and that it was not possible to play whilst in hospital never mind the fact that with only one arm working at the time, therefore playing online poker might be a problem. The sum of money involved was irrelevant.

They didn't respond (a sad trait with PP) but still took the money. After getting out one of my first jobs was to empty the remaining 67p and remove the software. Of course as a regular and supporter of DTD I went back but I have little or no time for PP and have found just recently that their customer service is still a joke. Thankfully I'm able to see the difference between the cretins and DTD who have always been superb!

Very sad news. Like so many have and will say "a true gent and a great player". My thoughts go out to remaining family at this sad time.

RIP

Many thanks to DTD for facilitating this Live Update, & in particular to Tighty, who gave up a precious weekend to entertain us.

+ a massive one. Great to see the big man, loaded with a suitcase full of caustic wit saved up over many months.
