Quick note to remind anyone thinking of playing this - if you cash in the Event, payment will NOT be at DTD in cash, ALL payments are into your Account on Sky Poker.com, no exceptions.

You do not have to have a Sky Poker account to play the event (a limited number of seats have been allocated for DTD to sell direct), but you WILL need an account to cash out.

Just to check, will this apply to side events as well?

BTW, I have been watching a ton of Galfond's PLO back catalogue on Bluefire recently. In one video he open-folds AKKJ from the Hijack! He explains that it is a slightly losing play to open this hand but that it would be a very marginal open from the CO. Even I am not that nitty lol!!

How is this a losing play? Double Suited surely it is a clear open? Blocker to being dominated and 3 str8 draws? Even without the nut/2nd nut flush draws, we have to be happy to at least flat a 3 bet?

There is a massive difference between having your face on a live stream and having your name on the website.

If an employer (etc) puts your name into Google, that will pop up. How many anti-poker employers are watching the live stream?

Recruitment agencies warn people about what they have on their Facebook page that is accessible to friends or friends of friends. If someone you know got you the interview and their boss is the one interviewing you, they might see that picture of you snorting what you later learned to be talcum powder from Eduardo's rippled abs on a hotel bathroom floor in Marbella.

This. Well, the first bit anyway.

You get the occasional bit of abuse if the guy comes back with a few chips left, but he'd have no problem doing the same to me. In over 20,000  games I've never disconnected against an unknown opponent and had them wait. Not once.

If you're +EV against the other regs then it's a pretty good idea to have them not like you anyway. Just means you get games all day rather than waiting for fish. You get more lobbies that way too because the bumhunting regs know that you won't stop rematching so they eventually just give up the lobbies and end their session which is more fish for me.

Actually I have had one reg tell me he was going to come to my house and shoot me, but that wasn't anything to do with disconnections. I happened to meet the guy at UKIPT Galway this year. He was surprisingly sheepish in person. Who'd have seen that coming? Smiley

cliffs required!

What time does play resume on Monday? If before 3, it may impact upon my participation today/tomorrow

"where is there a kangaroo hopping around without a cock?"

though if this had been page 43, it would have been:

"I mean I watch it, I like those little trial bits, right, but what I don't think people realise is, right, it is hard eating a little kangaroo knob."
