Not the greatest of starts whatsoever for Jimmy Walker - struggling massively to keep the ball on the fairway (4/14 fairways hit) which in turn, as you'd expect, made it hard for him to find the green in regulation.
Got some serious work to do to get into contention now and will more than likely require 3 rounds of 65 or better to be in with a shout. Leader is currently -7 with half of the field yet to complete their round due to thunder and lightening that hit early on.
If we can't get Jimmy there, it would be very nice to see Paul Casey close this one out and put him in mega contention for the FedEx cup!

Morning Tighty.
After last weeks dismal effort I owe you a winner, so I have had extra cups of coffee and done lots of thinking. It is likely that Leeds have an easy fixture tonight when they host Batley. Batley are in the league below and Leeds have been racking up the points in the playoff series.
Obviously the most likely try scorers are big odds on shots and have no appeal, apart from Kallum Watkins at 2/3 with sky. For a while Leeds have had problems around the play the ball, with little offensive play. What they needed was a live wire hooker, and a couple of months ago they recruited James Segeyaro from the ARL. In 7 games he has scored 5 tries and he is odds against to score tonight against the weakest team they will face. If the weather stays dry and the wind not too blustery then it could be a 60+ win for Leeds tonight, so Carl Ablett is a decent bet at odds against as well.
Suggest £20 Segeyaro anytime @ 11/10 with Coral. He is a tad bigger at Sky for the lucky few.
Hector - level stakes at; Segeyaro 6/5 Carl Ablett 6/4 Kallum Watkins 4/6 seem okay? Or do you advise just Segeyaro? Segeyaro is the best value as I think he should be 4/6. If Watkins starts then I think he is about a 1/3 shot and Ablett even money. I don't like doing multiple scorers at these prices as if 1 fails to score then it really impacts on your ROI. Obviously if a giant is going to stamp on my testicles if I fail to find a try scorer then I am going for Watkins in a flash. Thanks

This week sees the third week of the FedEx Playoff being played at Crooked Stick Golf course in the BMW Championship. With Jimmy Walker moving up from 25th to 9th after last weeks 3rd, this puts him in a great position to capitalise on the Fedex Cup with another few good performances. I feel this week at Crooked Stick gives him a great opportunity. A course that plays similar to Baltusrol where he won the PGA Champs at the end of July, and with some momentum going into this weekends comp I can see him having a good week. Advise Jimmy Walker £5ew at 40/1 (can get 45/1 at places Fred can't get on unfortunately) http://www.oddschecker.com/golf/bmw-championship/winnercan anybody help with paddypower please? Booked £5EW @ 45/1 Jimmy Walker (5-1/4) Thanks Marky

I was surprised to see England above evens for the match vs Slovakia on Sunday. Any thoughts?
no feedback at all is there any? thread works best when questions are answered....! I really don't know much about the Slovakian side, but above evens does sound like a decent price. England are going to want to prove they can play football again and more so, try and impress the new gaffer.

Djokovic 11/10 with Koral to win the US Open seems a bit big to me.
With the added bonus of getting your money back if he loses in the final, this looks like a bet to me.
Suggest Novak Djokovic £100 @ 11/10 to win US Open with Koral
Andy Murray should be favourite for the US Open http://bbc.in/2bkqiae was one take on this i'll throw it open to the tennis posters to yay or nay... I don't follow tennis anywhere near close enough to have a view, but I did hear that he had a dodgey wrist?

Second ODI Saturday at Lords Pakistan's batting is weak for ODIs. Mixture of inexperience and out of form in the top order top 4 is Azhar. captain and going to be favourite. top scorer yesterday Sharjeel. great if he comes off but bit hit and miss Hafeez. might as well be batting with a bin lid in his current form. might hit the ball then, but would probably edge it barbar at 4 is 21, talented lad but at the stage where he's scoring 40s and 50s and not going on for big ones then we have wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, batting at 5 who is priced at 10-1 with Ladbrokes. He scored 55 at Southampton and has over 1100 ODI runs in his 45 career innings to date. he's the T20 captain, could be in for a lot of overs and scores fast 10-1 is a big price with such a fragile top order above him. Ladbrokes have him down as batting 7 or 8. batting 5 he should be something like 11/2 -6/1 link is http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/england-v-pakistan/2nd-odi/top-pakistan-batsmanYes I like this, I backed him yesterday. The rain delay came at the wrong time as he was going along nicely. Think I'd like Tikay to put another 20 quid on. Only in the shop obvs. Price down to when I tried to get on 10 mins ago

If you stake £100 on your card and come in another day to collect £220, you will more than likely be paid in cash.
They won't know your initial bet was via card unless you are a huge staking customer who they remember/have made a note of.
If you come in and load up £500 on a machine using your card, you're never getting paid any returns over maybe £200 in cash.
A lot of the time its about how much money they have in shop in their float rather than money laundering rules, as we all know theres fuck all money kept in bookies nowadays because of the threat of robberies etc.
Big winners have to wait for the insert to open (generally 30 mins, 15 some shops) or for the manager to make a trip to the bank if they want paying out in cash. The exception to this rule would be Saturday afternoons or big meetings.
I don't think this is necessarily true. Quite often they write 'CARD' on the betslip before photocopying it. They do then give you the option of cash or it going back on to the original card. Dependant on the amount.
