Mario Balotelli now a 5/2 fav to go to Wolves before the transfer deadline. Quite incredible.

Morning Tighty.

Could we have £5 e/w on Gael Monfils for the Cincinnati ATP please. He is the most entertaining player around and so a personal favourite. He is in the same half as Murray, but Murray looked drained last night and could have one eye on the US. It looks like an open tournament and I wouldn't put anyone off backing Kyrgios  e/w ( usual caveats apply ).

Suggest £5 e/w Monfils @ 33-1 with Coral.

Theim seems to have got a walkover v Monfils - can't find any reason as to why.

Kyrgios lost his head once again in his defeat to Coric.

I really really don't like the guy - a shame to the sport.

Thouroughly enjoyed the Hockey this Olympics. Looking forward to the final and another good chance of some gold!

Morning.

Got a couple at York today.

It is a bit obvious but I like Duke of Firenze in the first at York.  R Jcan well last time, seems to have a good draw etc.  Also the favourite.

Suggest 25 e/w at 9/1 5 places with 365, so booked for some of mine if you want it.

The other is Oceane in the 16.20.  We had this last time and it got a bit unlucky/got a bad ride/didn't get going quick enough depending on your view.   Victor are 13/2 which means you get close to betfair on the win and better than them on the place.  Suggest 25 e/w at the 13/2 with victor.  Would be happy with 6/1 too

Nice one Doobs!

I know what we saw on Saturday lunch time wasn't a good performance whatsoever by Leicester.

However, Leicester are at home to Arsenal on Saturday (530pm) and have been priced at 2/1 by BV - this too me seems once again too big.

Like I've said it was by no means a good start by Leicester but Arsenal were not far behind them and have some serious defensive issues.

Thoughts?

Don't follow Women's golf anywhere near as close as I should/would like to.

Will be having a small amount on Charley Hull as she is from my neck of the woods and is the touring pro of my club.

Good luck to her indeed - would be a sick achievement. Really enjoyed the men's, hoping the women's is as good.

I've dabbled on Paddy Harrington EW at a working-man's price as he's shown some decent form lately.

GLGL - I've had a bit on Olesen, he has been great at all of recent but if feel he's the kind of golfer that is just going to go on a flurry - quite a tasty price also.

I'm going to suggest we have a bet on Byeong-Hun An to win the Olympic golf.

With many of the big names missing this week I think Byeong-Hun An is going to see this as a huge opportunity to take advantage of that a put in a very respectable performance. Once becoming the youngest ever US Amateur winner at 17 there were high hopes for Ben An. He went on to win the BMW with a -21 at Wentworth in 2015 and lost in a playoff this year in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Currently ranked 35th in the world and having very good stats off the tee (Driving distance 25th) and ranked 42nd on birdie average. I feel he has a good chance of a medal here.

Further to this, South Koreans become exempt from Conscription, other wise known as mandatory military service if they are to win an Olympic medal. Byeong-Hun An will be well aware of this with both of his parents winning one in table tennis in 1988.

Great start - missing a 1ft par putt on the first....thankfully birdied 2 though. Nerves settled.

That has a "location restriction" in the UK, well for me it does although their scoreboard seems the most current.

Strange, seems to be working for me okay.

Who's everyone fancying for the golf this week?
Starts in just over an hour - intrigued to see how it all pans out with it being the first Olympics for golf. Hoping for a good watch
