Yep, I had noticed, lol

Sod's law, plus deserved as I told myself I wouldn't make an early sub - he seemed completely off the radar until my timely intervention

Reading this, I really don't see how any player can have complete confidence that online poker is a fair playing field. This must be rife across the major poker sites, and apparently difficult to prevent. The potential for 2/> 'bots' playing at the same table and perfecting a card-sharing strategy is also pretty scary.

Hi Mere

Can I use my free sub to bring in Paul Volpe for the anonymous Dan Kelly please?

Dan Kelly wins 2015 Wsop player of the year now becomes a very good bet me thinks.

Thanks

'john black wins Wsop ME 2015 with astonishing 8 high call!' - would be a fitting end to the notebook... 😉

He's mentioned he's planning to play circa 40 events, so if he manages that you'd have to fancy him for somewhere between 5-10 cashes... looking at the schedule I don't see how it's feasible to play that many events without literally running between rooms playing concurrent tournaments, seems to be a new event every day but most events will be min 2 days?

Slightly gutted I didn't stick pads in, nailed on he wins the lot now!
Surprised there wasn't much interest in Charlie Carrel, that boy seems to have cleaned up over the last 12 months online and live

Hi Tighty

Just to clarify, does that mean if you buy in with cash at Dtd, you will receive winnings from Dtd in cash (i.e. It isn't a necessity to have a Partypoker account for winnings to be paid?)

Thanks

Nope, you can have private pensions and the state pension - the state pension is associated with your lifetime NIC contributions - not your other income sources, nor your level of income. Private pensions are in essence a long term form of savings which historically come with tax reliefs / incentives I.e. So are usually encouraged by the government ; taking away state pension eligibility would be a rather big (and unfair) disincentive Smiley

Bad edicate, good etiquette 😌

If a player wins a big pot live and stands up/leaves immediately then that obvs would annoy people, leaving even one or two hands later so much better as players mentally move on / forget hands quickly.

Online? I think its difficult to have any significant degree of etiquette when you're not interacting in person... if a player wins big then sits out I've no issue with that at all. It's not as if you can't find action online elsewhere quickly enough. Also think players get a huge adrenaline surge after a big pot and mentally it is almost certainly optimal to sit out for at least a few minutes if your hearts pumping away etc - way more likely to play speculative hands when you're on a high. If he then decides, 'actually I'm going to book a winning day and quit', nowt wrong with that

Errrrr hem... lol

Presuming your video resources is TMI to give away freely?

Nowt wrong with the time you spend on poker fwiw, your mindset should be 'I'm going to milk this cash cow for as long as I need / while it's there / because it'd be incredibly difficult to earn comparative amounts in other walks of life'

To use a football euphemism, a consummate footy pro is going to concentrate all his powers/energy into his prime years while he can (your man Henderson a great example; Gary Neville maybe the best). You really do not know where poker will be in five years, or if you will still be at the pinnacle then, so maximise your current situation - the money to make now will give you choices in the future, whether they be in or outside of poker.

I don't understand why this matters. The point of the game is to win money, right?

Yea, without knowing all the facts it did come across as a very blunt, assumptive article.

Hi pads

What would you recommend In terms of MTT videos to watch For mid-late stage strategy? Thin brag, but made 2 FTs yesterday, yet had a nagging feeling I could have placed higher in each (was 3rd and 6th). I'm pretty sure I surrendered spots/didn't apply enough pressure in marginal situations to gain a sufficient stack for top 1 or 2 spots. Anything u might be able to recommend would be appreciated.

Cheers
