I'm looking forward to Dubois v Joyce on Saturday.
Anyone have any strong views other than a Dubois win?
Joe Joyce fanboy checking in. Ismael Salas being out is a bit of a deal-breaker when it comes to keeping the juggernaut onside. They looked a good match back in the Hayemaker days.

how brook/khan wasn't made either at their prime or past it is criminal. At its prime its a way bigger fight than froch groves who made chunks listening to eddie.
It wasn't too far away from happening. It was good to go, and get announced in the ring, if Brook got by Errol Spence Jr.

Late 20's peak Brook was a magnificent flat track bully. People slept on his huge weight cut & re-hydrate. It's also an attribute which diminishes post 30 years old.
That window is a spot where I'd of confidently picked Brook. Ultimately Brook and more to gain in victory so I always lean more towards the onus being on his side to force matters. Also Khan's name got him other opportunities like I'm a Celeb and that stupidly overpaid jolly in Jeddah.

Eddie bust his chops over the years buttering up Amir Khan, getting him ringside, planting seeds for the mega fight. Brook called him out all the time and Sky were desperate for it too. Down the line, after many negotiations, Eddie thought it'd all come to fruition, only for Brook's dad spite turned it down as his son wasn't quite getting a 50/50 split. That's by far the angriest I've ever seen Hearn. A couple of weeks later they took the GGG fight for less money, but a bigger split

how much would brook got for that last night? £1m? His career has been so badly managed (similar to Whyte) he has let Eddie use and abuse him as fillers for second rate cards/spots when EH was making more out of fighters who were no better than brook but they made him more money.
We've just been slagging off Brook's dad for the last dozen odd posts. It's him who mismanaged Kell's career. Frank hated him aswell, was happy to pan Brook off to Eddie. *yeah up to $2mill's been bandied about.

Edward refusing to work with Tesco Joe would be pretty high up on the list of things you love to see.
Saw that other day 'I just don't want to work with him at the moment' or words to that effect. Lovely Xmas jumper he had on, too Probs shouldn't call the hand that feeds you racist. Gallagher's aging stable are a year plus without a fight, have no dates, and no promoter. Should probably just stay away from interviews if you can't convey your thoughts with any clarity It's as delusional as Brook cutting Hearn out of the Crawford negotiations then trying to sell Eddie and Sky the UK TV rights

Paid for the takeaways Cheers, McG. Hope you had the lot on! LSC boxed really well, I thought. Then Gervonta got him caught up in a firefight, which was what he obv wanted. It reminiscent of Povetkins recent KO. He'd been measuring it up but it was still a shock when the lights went out.

Gervonta looked good on the scales. Kid could reap the benefits of staying away from Baltimore.
Get some strong people around him, and not enablers, would help immeasurably. Good to watch, regardless. *He did this time having a 15 week camp with Floyd. The penny seems to have dropped. But I'll happily go with your take if the KO bet don't get home I haven't followed him much, as he annoys me so much, and last I saw he was dragging his mrs out of some sporting event. Prob the smartest thing he could do, as if he's on Floyd's firm they're going to want him making everyone as much dinero as possible, so he has to have his nut screwed on. I'll have some on him by KO for an interest, though. GL us! ffs obs Floyd is a good influence in the ring as opposed to how to treat women.
