Be interested in the more expert opinions here.
Thought the commentators were calling it far too positively for Usyk but still surprised to see anyone score it as a win for AJ
I thought if was fine bar the being too pro AJ early on. Adam Smith just cheerleads for the homefighter then changes his tune if people on twitter disagree with him. Cheers, enjoyed the fight. Great class and resilience from Usyk but Joshua kept it tense and was an impressive effort I thought. Np even alleged experts have scorecards all over the place fwiw Usky is a mega sicko and probably has a great poker face when he is hurt

Joshua still looks like a young man who is trying to please everyone around him. It's odd to see his opponent as the one with the swagger. Can’t wait for AJ v Usyk. I normally have have firm opinions but I’m not sure about this one. Heart says AJ but head not so sure. One thing I am confident about is it’s not going the distance. Best bet is to back both to win by KO.
Fight not to go the distance is legit. By the end of the day every preview is likely to tip Usyk by KO.

That whole Sims gym have been outperforming their odds which is why I'm hesitant to pick against Cordina tonight. Unfortunately in Richards case it was only in defying the odds on to get stopped Always got to support the brits, so hope he does it. Then down under for the big unification. Worked late last night, so I could stay up and watch that after the UFC tonight. Richards did much the same as he did against Bivol, didn't he? I watched it back once, and he's just really slow in the first 1/3 of fights. Thing is, if he goes hard early, he likely won't have the tank to finish like he does. Something he needs to work out, or maybe he has just hit his ceiling. I don't know, I listen to less of the post fight interviews these days. In a similar spot John Ryder admitted to giving Danny Jacobs too much respect early on based off the back of his reputation.

I am an MMA fan but watched the boxing last night including all of the prelims as I was in the casino. I can't believe some of these matches. One guy was 2-72. Another guy was literally off the street. When he was walking in I wondered if he was a Youtuber or if this was a charity match as he was so out of shape. I am struggling to comprehend how these fights end up on a prime time ppv card. Is this how it always is with chronic mismatches so people can pad their records?
Fwiw that'll go down as the worst ppv undercard of all time. 2-72 guys have a place in the sport, albeit on the untelevised section. The biggest joke was an Olympic bronze medal heavyweight fighting a guy literally off the street (no official am or pro experience). No wonder there was a huge gamble on the round 1 stoppage.

When Khan v Brook was announced I was non-plussed. Now it’s here I can’t wait for it. Clearly both are washed and the winner will be whoever is least washed but it’s a proper grudge match with genuine ill-feeling between both of them. I’m down with that.
Better getting a grudge match out of the way instead of another Hatton v Witter non event. After this calamity of an undercard I'm really looking forward to seeing who is more washed.
