Didn’t say caps it said where they were from. LeTiss is from Guernsey. And I’ve swapped Stoichkov for Neymar as I realized I didn’t have any Brazilians.

Can't believe C.Ronaldo isn't making these teams.

He’s just played for too many top clubs, so he’s only good for being born in Portugal. You need as many one-club players as possible so I went for:

Neuer, Robertson, Ramos, Baresi, Zanetti, Giggs, LeTissier, Lampard, Ljundberg, Son, Neymar.

Very underwhelming briefing tonight.

Slippery Raab never answers the questions properly so I don’t know why he goes back to the hacks as they just treat that same thing. They shouldn’t bother with the comebacks.

My local hospital has a drive by testing area, and it wasn’t one of the cities Raab mentioned. So he’s not been very well briefed with that one.

Did anyone else notice the dodgy Y axis on their ‘Global Death Comparison’ graph? The distance between 50-100 deaths was the same as the last 5,000-10,000 deaths, which is masking the exponential nature of how quickly the deaths are racking up. Guess they’re trying not to panic people but  it makes it harder to make out each country’s line.

Horrible that they’re such a bunch of deniers and liars. How do we still not know for certain if those infected can catch it again, and after how long...they must know that in China.

Hopefully when the dust settles we will reverse our 5G decision.

Do people think this will kill HS2?

Thanks for the US updates everyone, really interesting to see how each state is affected, and is fighting it.

If anyone spots any more Cuomo v Cuomo videos please post as the first two were hilarious.

Someone I went to school with, and who I'm friends with on social media, lost their Dad overnight to COVID-19.  It's the first time I've seen anyone impacted who I knew personally, which makes it feel much closer to home now.

It was probably inevitable that this would be the case, as we're still at the relatively early stages of this.  Sadly, I fear there's much more of this to come in the short-term.

My cousin’s wife was in hospital a week ago with corona. Only in her 30s but has kidney problems, so that was a concern. Fortunately she’s now out, having made a strong recovery.

Thanks Doobs for posting that actuaries info, very informative and always interesting to see the professionals’ opinions.

At least the government have been quick to fast track almost qualified doctors and nurses to shove them into action. I can see that being extended out to second year under grad nurses, and not just doctors who are In their final year. Their quals/graduation will have to be paused as we need these professionals at the front line.

if the internet breaks we are doomed Smiley

Then at least I would be able to leave the WFH brigade and join the skive at homers. Got about two dozen new books I’ve never had the chance to read due to watching YouTubers.

My cousin and her husband are both key workers with primary school age kids. They are telling the school that one of them isn’t a key worker in order to keep the kids at hone. I bet there are parents doing the exact opposite  Wink

My wife is an administrator for the local hospital and they are banning all leave for the next two months and cancelling all non-essential things and moving everyone to front-line services ready for the influx. They are looking to utilize all buildings that will therefore not be used by Turning them into wards soon. They seemed to be getting well prepared so let’s hope enough retired workers risk their lives to come back and help, and there is enough equipment and PPE too.

Stay safe and sensible everyone, let’s hope the greed buying stops soon Ebay etc need to stamp out all this profiteering.

Episode one.

Exactly the same humour as his golden globes speech, i.e. saying very inappropriate and insulting things to people who don't deserve it.

Granted it is funny, but the rudeness just rubs me up the wrong way.

Off to watch episode 2.

Most of the celebs picked the on massively deserve it (having either committed a crime, or done something morally heinous)

And I’m sure the ones who aren’t in the bracketed category can handle a small dig after having years of fans and laccies endlessly fawning over them, and accruing vast wealth along the way.

Like KP and love RG. But then I like most comedy except the slapstick/stereotypical-based ones like Miranda or Mrs Browns Boys.

They, along with all other UK bookies, should still ha have to lay a bet to lose a couple of hundred quid though, IMO. if not, the game is simply fixed so you can’t win.

FPL Cup Last Longer:
This begins in GW17 and the winner is the team(s) who go deepest in the Official FPL Cup. Some of us didn't even qualify

So annoying when you don’t even qualify! I had that the last couple of years despite being a relatively competent player

But now I’ve qualified I’m cursing my luck I didn’t get an inactive team  Smiley

Anna Firth, the Tory candidate is a Vote Leave stalwart, and Canterbury was 51% leave in the referendum, but despite the fact she is not from the city I cannot have Labour at 1.44. The student vote may well mirror the numbers of 2017, as semester-wise a similar amount will be around. But will as many be keen on a Labour Party now thoroughly tarnished with anti-Semitic tropes?

Suggest £20 for Conservatives at 2.75 (365), and Fred is welcome to have it with me if this market goes down soon #postalvotespoiler.

So Labour held the seat and actually increased their majority to 1836, a 3.1% margin of victory. So I’m not sure if the 2.75 was value considering the actual outcome. I’d be interested to hear anyone’s thought regarding that.

Over the evening, the odds on the tories drifted out to 2/1 (yes, I went in again!) before coming right in after the exit polls.
