Butland is out for a few more months according to reports. Really hoping he's not one of these players who has so much potential which can't be fulfilled due to ongoing problems.

I've actually not got a clue about Cameron, all the attention seems to be on whether an ageing Lee Grant is worth the £4m derby are asking for, or the never ending injury to Jack Butland.

Peep show is one of the most unfunny comedy shows in history.

Yup I'm already on stoke, prices should be pretty much reversed imo. Seems close to a max bet to me, huge value.

Don't know much about these teams so any opinions would be apprecaited.

I see Port Vale, 12th in league 1, are at home to Northampton, 17th in league 1. Northampton have lost 4 league games in a row, and have only won twice away from home all season. Port vale aren't in great form either, in the last 4 they've won 1, drawn 2 and lost one, but they've got a pretty good track record this season at Vale Park- 6 wins, 3 draws and just the one loss.

The bookies have Vale down as the underdogs. I'm not sure whether there are any key injuries or other factors which have influenced the price. If not, I believe they hold good value today.

11/5 is available with multiple firms, even as high as 9/4 with Marathon. If nobody can give any reasoning as why to avoid Vale I reckon a £50 bet should do.

Hey guys, completely forgot about this thread for a few days. All the opinions have been very much appreciated.

As of now, we plan on leaving so we can travel and sort out a second year visa (by completing 88 days agricultural work, bleurgh) with the intention of coming back next year around July to save up and then make a final decision. At least then we can make a better informed decision, this time next year we could hate it!

If I knew how to upload photos on here I'd stick a few up of the area I'm living in. Slightly different to life in Staffordshire, that's for sure!

Hi Blondes. I've recently been presented with an opportunity in a job and I thought some neutral opinions would be nice. I don't normally like talking about wages openly but it's a pretty key part of the dilemma, so I've had to be open with money. I've also most probably left out some key information as it's pretty late over here and I'm trying to thrash this all out before I go to sleep

For the past 3-4 months my girlfriend and I have been working in a hotel bar and restaurant in a remote town right on the seafront in South Australia, after being on the road for over a year now, which has been pretty awesome. I've never had a job where I actually enjoy being at work doing my job, being around colleagues and customers, so right now everything is great. On top of this the money is pretty damn great for a low skill job, $29.34 an hour, so we're really able to save up a good chunk of cash each paycheck. Now, part of the regulations of the working visa we are on is that you can't work for the same employer for more than 6 months, meaning we've only a couple of months until we have to leave again. We've spoken to the owners about potentially getting a visa sponsorship which would involve promoting us to management and moving from casual employment to full time employment. The issue with this is that casual employees earn significantly more money than full time, roughly $7 per hour, than full time employees (just part of the way things work over here in Aus), but full timers get other benefits such as 4 weeks holiday pay + sick pay, as well as being guaranteed a minimum of 38 hours/ week, even though I've not had an issue getting at least close to this every week. I'm just not sure the benefits of going full time really make up for losing nearly 25% of an hourly wage.

What's your opinion on this folks? Pursue a job promotion for less money and more responsibility/stress, or just be happy we had the opportunity to have a great job for 6 months and move on? Perhaps it's a pride thing but I'm not sure I could deal with having fresh faced 18 year old trainees on shift earning $7 an hour than myself as a manager. Any thoughts would be great.

Scored a minute later. Too late now lol.

Edit: Hopefully this doesn't look aftertimey, I've been watching on a stream which is probably delayed and the previous post may have gone up until seconds after the goal.

Only a very quick one, I reckon we should be getting on Stoke in play to beat Watford. Started the game very well, good football and a few good chances. Not got time to look round the bookies for the best in play odds but anything better than 2/1 would be good. 9/4 on 366 from what I can see.

84.04 placed in play on Melbourne city to beat western Sydney wanderers. Returns  £105.

Brutal 92nd minute equaliser for Western Sydney. GG.

Dragic just comfirned as playing for the Heat. He is a big player for them and has been out for a few games. Was touch and go. I'd imagine that will knock the Heat in a notch or two with the bookies and perhaps why they were slight favourites in anticipation that he might play. Winslow is still out though, he is another key player for the heat... And yeah, they are on a cold streak.

On the flipside, Antetokounmpo (Can't remember if Fred backed him for breakout player of the season) had a monster game last night for the Bucks and the Heat don't really have anyone suitable to guard him so he could put up big numbers again.

GL. I will watch the highlight reel in the morning!

Just had a quick look at the NBA tonight and I think there's a bit of value in the game between Milwaukee and Miami. Milwaukee go into the game as underdogs in the eyes of the bookies but I'm not sure this is accurate. Miami have lost 6 games on the bounce, and have only won 2 out their opening 10 games, lying in 14th place out of 15th in the eastern conference. They are playing at home, where they currently have 1 win and 5 losses this season. Milwaukee on the other hand have had a reasonable start, 5 wins and 5 losses, and currently sit in the final eastern conference playoff place. Miami are also one of the lowest scoring teams in the league, only averaging just over 94 points per game.

Not really sure as to why the Heat are favourites for this game.

I recommend a bet on Milwaukee Bucks to beat the Miami Heat with Billy's at 29/20, or 7/5 with various other firms such as fred or the exchange.

Can't believe just how poor the Bucks were, not even a sweat after a good start by them. My bad!
