2016 really has been a crazy year from a political perspective. Who knows what will change over the coming months and years.

Level 5 I managed to find QQ vs JJ vs TT and held. Managed to chip up to around 370k.

Weird first hand on a new table. utg I raise to 7200 with TsTc at 1500/3000/300. Round to the BB who throws in a couple of 5k chips and the tries to pull his blind out to make it a call. Dealer states the raise stands obviously.  I Raise to 28k and the guy flats. He has roughly 100k behind.

I bet 30k on the flop of 543ssx, he makes it 85k. I decide to ship the rest in and he shows AK. Pretty good shape. He turns a king and I miss the river.

Pretty brutal orbit or 2 losing AQ vs AQ and a few other small ones.

A few hands later I get 99 in on a flop of 567 against 88 and the turn is a 4 and I'm out.

Pretty crazy first bullet. Not sure how it came crashing down so quickly but here we go again, bullet 2 fired.

Pretty good start going into the first break, up to 240k from 100k starting. Pretty comfortable on the table. Only one real hand of note:

Level 3 with blinds of 750/1500/150ante.

Im on the button, All involved have around 100k.

There are 2 mid position limpers. I Raise to 6200 with QsJh. BB calls and has been very active, made a few strange river bluffs trying to chip up early, and is already complaining he's  below average. He bluffed me in a previous hand and showed it, got a pretty good read from that hand and various others.

Flop 742ccx. He donks 7200 quickly, I raise to 19.500. He snaps.

Turn . He then checks, I bet 25k which is snap called.

River . He snap bets 40k. Previously when he bluffed he was snap betting then looking me down. I tanked for around a minute then flicked it in. Probably a bad call but had to go with my read.

Morning George.

I don't buy a lot of action these days, but you've been a loyal supporter & contributor to Fred & never caused us a spot of bother, so I'd like to take 20% please, which is £72.

If you sell out & other regulars want a piece, I'll happily reduce my stake to give others a chance.

I'll need your Bank Details, please, PM them to me & I'll ship the cash immediately.

Good luck mate, & most of all, enjoy.

Morning Tikay,

Thanks for the quick response and nice comments. I can't imagine everyone will be fighting over 20% of action for a daft lad from Staffordshire but we shall see!

I'll PM bank details now.

Thanks again.

Hi guys,

Now the amateur festival that is the WPT is over the big dogs are out to play in the Grand Prix at DTD. This super hiroller event is £90 buy in with a guarantee of £250,000, first place guaranteed at £30,000. Also the top 50 get a £550 seat which, if I were lucky enough to get one, you would also have a piece in for a future event.

I will be firing up to 4 bullets and most probably playing live day 1's today (Monday 7th November) and Wednesday, but nothing is set in stone as of yet. I thought it might be fun and hopefully give a few of us a small sweat.

Whilst I'm not claiming to be an extraordinary player, I am a profitable live player at low stakes, even if this is over a relatively small sample. The grand Prix tournaments have always been great for value due to lots of inexperienced players satelliting in for very little.

I haven't played an MTT for over a year now, due to being overseas, but have kept my game fairly fresh by playing various cash games on my travels

I'm selling up to 40% with no mark up for a total of £144, and I will be playing regardless of whether I sell sod all.  10%= £36.

Here's a link to my hendonmob, missing a few results totalling another 2k ish for some unknown reason. And as previously mentioned, the reason for it being very blank the last 12+ months is due to me not having played an MTT.

Just play some hands man, go to your local casino a couple of times a month and sit down at the tables. After playing a few times you'll be able to judge which formats you enjoy playing most, how seriously you want to take it etc.

Can anyone help me out getting a small bet on the Spurs with Boylesports @9/1? Can't access it from overseas.

Unibet are 11/1 and seem significantly less trigger happy than spoils, definitely worth having an account with them

If you're in Europe you'll be able to get onto their site

Sadly not, Unibet Australia is paying 8/1 so will just take that if nobody has a working boyles. Cheers.
