I'm currently working in a small, country Australia town. The general consensus is that Cricket Australia has to suspend them for at least a year, if not permanently. The locals are furious they've let down the nation, and rightly so. Anyway, we chose a good week to get bowled out for 58- what would normally be weeks of torment has come to an abrupt halt. If only this had happened a few months ago, would have been fantastic to start the ashes after this!

Any updates? Enjoyed reading this from the start, what's happened the past year or 2?

Pains me to say it but that stoke relegation bet really looks like a cracker now. We're struggling big time and the next 6 fixtures or so aren't looking too kind.

He worked wonders at Norwich. Keeping that glass half full for now  scared Paul Lambert's barmy army!

I've said for months I'd love Gary Rowett, but with how things are going at Derby I very much doubt he'd leave in the current situation.

Ideally we'd have somebody like O Neil until the summer, if Derby don't go up and we stay up then throw a good offer at Rowett. We'll probably end up with Steve Bruce though.

First time I've actually been concerned we might be facing the drop this season. Shocking again. Hughes has to go, but Coates is normally patient with his decisions. He should have gone in the summer, let's hope he pulls the trigger. Would love Gary Rowett to replace him personally. Bookies favourite is Roberto Mancini. Can't imagine that happening!

Hi blondes.

Stoke are away at Chelsea this weekend, and go into the game with a few injury concerns at the back; Shawcross, Martins-Indi & Pieters all "doubtful", the young lad Tom Edwards picked up a knock and Zouma isn't eligible to play against his parent club. Alongside these issues our defence has been pretty shocking all season/ year, conceding the most goals out of any PL team all campaign. We've only played 2 of the "big" teams away from home this season and have been smashed in both of these, 7-2 away at Man city and 5-1 away at spurs. Chuck this in with a 4-0 loss when we played Chelsea at home and it points you in the direction of a spanking for our lads this weekend.

I'm not sure the best way to approach this, whether it be from a total Chelsea goals standpoint or handicap market. I've linked the oddchecker for the handicap results below. I really like the 4/1 offered on Chelsea -3 with Betfair. I'd recommend £20 if Fred could get on at this price. I would help but can't access Betfair from overseas.

Just to add to this, Glen Johnson is also is also unavailable.

Yep it's been great stuff from Cooky the past few days. Been a few very weird wickets taken aswell. Both Vince and Malan appear to have nicked the ball (shown by the thermo's and snicko) but didn't appeal the lbw call, and then Broad very unfortunate to go after he was "caught" by Kawaja (100% spelt incorrectly). Would be nice to nick a consolation win or 2 before the end.

After the first innings I've no idea how we're even in this position.

Very quick turnaround, gone from 4/240 to 9/286 in an hour or so.

England got a good chance overall? I've got tickets for the Adelaide test but don't follow cricket tbh.

Yesterday seems to be a big swing in the argument for "Hughes out" by the looks of things.

"Freezer" was the nickname for an old Stoke player, Marc Goodfellow.

Freezer jolly goodfellow... always made me laugh.
