Can't play, but will say this is one of the best poker rooms I've visited in the UK. Very accommodating, friendly atmosphere, good dealers, and great location if  you fancy post-beers in the city centre
what's the cash action like? I will be there around 2pm next Thursday ahead of the 6pm flight? What sort of hours does the cash stay open?

qualifiers are well under way for the next leg at Manchester United’s legendary Old Trafford home, 16-17 January.

Players have the option to play:

four live day 1’s at Manchester235 casino on 9, 10, 14 &15 January,

the weekly online day 1’s on partypoker

or head straight to United’s ‘Theatre of Dreams’ to use their partypoker account to buy in and take their seat directly at the stadium itself on Saturday 16 January, 2016.

www.gppt.poker

golden chip satellites nightly on party at 7 and 9pm, 500 available for Old Trafford, about 225 gone so far

spooky as up for LFC v Arse on 13th and planning to stay in north west ahead of LFC v Man U game on 17th - something to do in between now and hopefully the nice dilemna on 17th!

Our eldest daughter came along for trip in end so didn´t catch up with anyone for beers but saw loads of Brits playing main (and headr a few , ahem Will Kasuaf ,-)) and good luck to all those left...will try for Malta next as one day I will get past day 3 in these events!

Hey mate, not sure we've met before and I'm largely hoping to be playing all the time in Barca, but I'm sure I can fit a beer or two in at some point. How would be best to get in touch? Whatsapp?
Cheers - I'm currently only got access to work Blackberry (all about the value ;-) ) and not sure they support Whatsapp ... let's aim to hve an end of day 2 celebratory beer - I will look out for you - I'm the permanently worried looking fella;

There you go ABO, there's another.

Which reminds me, pleno, aka Patrick Leonard, will be there, too.

Almost enough to share a pizza now.
Cheers Tikay!

Yes I recognise Pleno from his Hendon mob mug shot - shared tables with Alex too including a recent rival event at DTD so I will ''know'' a few - hopefully one of us will run nicely as its the spot to do it

Cheers,

Morning,

Good luck in Barca.

Don't forget - wear the jacket & shirt combo. You know it works. Wink

Thank you Tikay, you are very attentive sir!

Still havent ruled out the chances of playing the UKPC ahead of EPT (the social freeroll password for last weekend sums up my position here but never say never...) but sure it will be a great success again. Btw gutted my UKPC series recording didnt capture the sky sports 5 showing of episode 2 last Weds when we were away as pretty sure I would have featured during the bubble play  - will have to wait until October repeat on Challenge now to see but look forward to seeing the rest of series

Anyway hope to see you at weekend if not then soon and will try my best to positively represent in Barca as it doesnt appear many Blondes are making trip.

Cheers,

Any blondes going? I was literally the first to q/f on line back in May and its been a long wait but nearly upon us. It will be my 4th EPT - made last hand of day 2 in first, day 3 in 3rd was bubble +1 in my last one so hoping to go one step better this time. Playing day 1 B - flying out on morning of 25th from Gatwick - hope to see some of you there. I'm not qualfied to go on the on line staking section of Blonde just yet but again something we can discuss at venue - it wouldnt be any mark up just looking to reduce variance for up to say 25%.

Cheers,

seen him in IOM 'working' after busting UKIPT and in Barca not working after busting ME and it was two different Daniels, poles apart...nothing surprising here as he is clearly a good stars pro who also cares about his game and indeed the game - I think it would have been good if he'd made it...he's good at his job ...I like Sting's music but also think he's a bit of a twat!
59  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: The partypoker Grand Prix Million @ DTD $1m GTD on: May 24, 2015, 10:07:10 AM
It paid 206 yesterday. The hand for hand lasted over an hour and a half which was excruciating as they started it with about 215 players left in. But I guess we have timebanking short stacks to blame for that. My only criticism of the day was that it was very hot inside, which was alleviated somewhat when the doors were wedged open.

I met lots of players yesterday who were quite inexperienced playing live at this level of buyin and they had a fantastic time, which was great to see.

As for the strange moanings of 'not wanting to play all BH w/e'. Well just play the online evening day 1s and then the live . If you get through to then you've a good shot at a huge score!

I found the plethora of options of online/live a great mix of flexibility and allowing people to take multiple shots (my mate's up here and done about 12 D1 bullets so far!).

''As for the strange moanings of 'not wanting to play all BH w/e'. Well just play the online evening day 1s and then the live . If you get through to then you've a good shot at a huge score''

My sentiments exactly!

Hi - apologies if this has already been covered and or a stupid question but...given I cant play (at DTD) on Sunday 24th - if I q/f through a day 1 then can I choose to play day 2 A or is this worked out in a different way? I get fact day 2 B (which I cant make) offers a further chance if you've qualified for multiple day 1s (which I wont now have) but my question just concerns choice of day 2 's

Cheers!
