People who think they're being supportive by announcing that your hand has held on the turn card, followed quickly by the river that gets you beat.

Pisses me off almost as much as the villains who congratulate you on a winning hand even before the flop has been spread.... Made worse when they push their stack forward & instruct the dealer to start counting.

I could easily spend all night posting on this thread, but I'll just start with the thing that pissed me off today:

People that stand right in front of lift doors, bus doors, (or any fakin doors) blocking the way for the people who want to get out/off

Lots more to follow - although apologies for any repetition, as I've not read the whole thread.

I'm a bit ocd, so it's taken me a month to read the entire diary before making a comment....

Congrats is the best I can do for now. WP Eso & Petra!

Just spent the last few days reading the entire blog. As a 'sort of' reg at both Lutons, I've been desperately trying to put a face to your name, but never mind. Like so many others, I have found your blog hugely entertaining, particularly because it's so well written.

I did not see your final post coming, if I'm being honest. The £3k tv-casino spew suggests a drunken tilt reflex, and not necessarily a full-blown degenerate gambling problem. However, it's right to take is seriously, and the only advice I can offer is to get in touch with Eso Kral on blonde. He's been through the degen thing "in spades", and would be a good source of advice and support, I'm sure.

If this has been your "rock bottom", then take it as a positive, since it's usually the place you need to visit before you can start making a recovery. In any event, Ransom, I wish you all the very best with your journey through life - try to keep poker in it if you can, you certainly have ability.

Yes indeed, I signed up specially to make this post - so this fantastic ISPT event is delivering for Blonde at least?

Anyway, I'm just another of Leigh's supporters. As a relatively new member of the APAT bandwagon, I don't know him half as well as most others, but I can testify to his efforts on behalf of the legions of rec players out here. He's living proof that if you apply yourself (and get some decent cards along the way), you can compete with the best on your day.

Go on Leigh!
