Just seen MC's thread (top of the page)

Absolutely phenomenal reading.

I'll use it as motivation to keep improving, and hopefully get the results in.

Hey James,

Bit blown away to be honest.

Here is me writing a thread about playing £5/£10 games next thing i'm reading your summary from 2013!

Very nice results!

It was motivational, I have something to aim towards now Smiley

All the best for 2014

Just looked at these, neither graph looks that impressive.

I started to make profit from MTT's about the middle of this year. To date I've mostly played low stake bi games.

Everyone keeps saying I should be playing bigger games, so that's what i'm going 2 be doing over this month. I will still play low stake games, but also throw in bigger bi's aswell.

My ROI from MTTs, from June/July - present is really decent, looking to maintain that.

Went off cash a bit, not that I lost or went on a downswing, just don't have much of an urge to play cash right now. So decided it was a good time to give MTT's a good go.

My goal for this year with MTTs, is to have 2k profit as shown on SS by some point this year.

Just worked out how to get graphs into a forum post!

These are my stats from Sharkscope since I started playing on Sky and from Sept- to present.

I'm going 2 play 100 MTT's at £5.50 to £11 stakes.

Sharkscope below exludes one win on Sky just before Christmas, "the Christmas Cracker" in which I came 2nd for just under £300. It was a password protected game, so hasn't been picked up by sharkscope.

Also the recent drop was from the £110 main event, which I satted into through a freeroll.

I'm going to keep a track of those 100 games on here.

Hey Matt!

Thanks both.

I call the river. I don't love it, but at the same time i'm not overly worried.

As the time bar is going down, type in the chat box "set?", but i didn't think it was a set for some reason, i thought it was a bluff as the time bar was going down, and called after using most of the time bar.

Iregardless, of the result, i wonder if this is the right play.

I felt the check raise on the flop was a set or air, it was such a dry board.

Called the turn to re-assess on the river. The river card looks pretty terrible, he could have 10s, 8 10, q 10. I didn't really think he had 2 many 10s in his range, and certainly didnt think he was check raising 10s on this flop.

By the river when he overbet jams (setting me all in) i don't think he's ever doing this with a set. Call or fold the river?

played the main event tonight on Sky.

Finished 48th, 40 paid.

My exit hand was K5 OTB with 10bigs, jammed it into the blinds was called by ace 9 which held.

I don't mind the Jam here, but maybe was a mistake.

Bit disapointed i couldn't go the distance, but one time it will happen.

Hey Rod, what does 29/29 mean?

Played 29 hands out of 29?
1691  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: Turn Decision on: December 29, 2013, 01:20:23 AM
Thoughts on this any1? lol

Arghhh, every1s saying it's the nittiest fold ever, if he has me beat good on him.

He's nut peddler tight, you think given my reads theres anyway i can call this?
1692  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: empty clip? on: December 28, 2013, 08:42:51 PM
No idea what 74/14 is.

Fold pre flop. Fold to the 3 bet.

Ok fair enough 4 bet if it was just the 3 better in the pot, but with the cold call you really should be done with the hand.

Just about the best flop you could have asked for. Definatly have 2 bet the flop.

Turn is the easiest check ever.

River card is a total brick, and can't see your opponent folding anything he has called you with on the turn.

Never used any tracking software, i can see why people use it, but at this level most decisions should be pretty straight forward.

Opponent makes a massive raise on the turn, i just fold my flopped flush.

He is really tight, can't see him doing with any less than the nut flush/ fh, thoughts?

Flop the flush, i lead out for 3/4 pot, villian calls.

I bet 1/2 pot on the turn, just noticed this, i should be betting about 80% pot. And he puts in a massive over raise £8.27 total leaving £7.26 behind.
