Have run restaurant/pubs for about 5 or 6 years, if this happend in one of my pubs I would be mortified and comp some of the bill or free drinks etc. Depends on the type of person who notices/number of people etc.
If it was a random 1 off mouse then I wouldn't do too much about it other than report to my pest controllers for them to come do a check up. If was an ongoing thing/had Seend multiple mice in the space of a few hours I would close my restaurant for that day and get the pest people in asap to get some proofing/more bait boxes etc.
Sure if you rang them up and speak to the manager and explain what happend and how it was dealt with and how it made you feel then you'll probably get a free meal/money off next bill.

to broaden it out hotels you book breakfast and they present to you a machine where you lay the bread flat and it goes conveyor belt stylee and then comes out of the bottom just wrong, hotel marked down on trip advisor as a result, every time Click to see full-size image. |
These should be banned. On holiday the rest of the family goes rushing of to get their breakfast and muggins here has to stand and toast fourteen rounds of bread for everyone. Each slice travels through at the speed of a glacier and then drops out just warmed and still pale, so you have to put it through again much to the horror of the other guests. This is when toaster etiquette comes in. Some people keep there distance until you have finished completely, but it's generally accepted that you can put your bread on as soon as there is a gap, providing you pay attention to which ones are yours and do not commit the cardinal sin of picking someone else's up by mistake. 'Scuse fingers' don't cut it when some randomer has there mawlers on your sliced white. Of course the second trip through has rendered it charcoal anyway unless you are willing to risk life and limb by dragging it out midway with the bread knife. Why can't hotels just have normal toasters? Of course, for grown-ups & members of the male gender, that little dial on the side speeds up or slows down the speed of the conveyory thingery & therefore the brownery rate of the toast. I am aware of this, but sometimes it's not easily accessible or has been removed by staff who don't appreciate people twiddling knobs in the breakfast hall without permission from the appropriate authorities. Had one of these toasters in the pub. First one we had, everyone and his child would play with the dial and you would always get the fire alarm going off for the mini bonfire thats taking place within the toaster or, you would end up with at least a loaf of unwanted "test" toasts. Eventually that toaster went to toaster heaven & we got a brand new one, crucial difference was that this one had a guard which could be fixed in place over the dial

Oh I know they make their own rules up! In that night the same situation occurred 4 times I think.
2 times the person missed the hand and 2 times they came in on the small blind!
Was the TD involved at any point? Lots of new dealers at Luton so maybe it's a case of experience/not knowing/listening to player TD's! TD was the one who said they could come in on the small blind! 1 dealer was told to let a player join in the small blind and then a little while later (as in like the next level maybe) same thing happend but the dealer said the player couldn't join the small blind! General chit chat was that rules were made up as they go along etc etc

Played there last week and have a question on a ruling.
The big blind busts and a new player comes to the table and takes that seat. He is then allowed to join that hand and comes straight in on the small blind.
Is this normal/right? Was always under the impression that a player can not join on the small blind?

Why do they bother to put a ball into their pocket? Surely that must be uncomfortable running about?
Andy Murray out just now.
Has he been "lucky" getting to where he is in the world today? or is he going through a bad patch?
I for one said he would never win a Slam and was shocked when he won the US. I felt his wimbledon win was due to a lack luster performance from Djok.
Is this just me being anti Murray or is he better than I give him credit for?
