Took the dog out for a walk early. Down Eccy Road in Sheffield - lots of bars and restaurants there.
Whilst odd ones were shut, 90% plus open and reasonably busy with groups happily drinking as if all was well in the world.
Counted a group of seven young lads, obviously invincible.
I popped into my local pub on Wednesday night as I had to drop something off to someone who worked in there. I counted just under 20 customers in there, roughly half of them were regulars who are all over 70 or would be in the at risk category due to health problems. So it's not just the young people still going to the pubs!

How do you think the time off will impact the teams? Ferrari catch up without a race & end up 2nd as a result?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/51895560Ferrari has shut down production at its Formula 1 and road-car factories in Italy for two weeks as a result of the coronavirus crisis.Didn't see that, cheers. Still says they are working from home where possible, so I would guess still developing the car, just not making the actual bits until they're back in the factory

Australian GP officially cancelled.
How do yoi think that affects the season or your bets? If races get culled and its shorter does that mean bottas has a better chance? How do you think the time off will impact the teams? Ferrari catch up without a race & end up 2nd as a result? Same with the mid table, renault etc

As promised, Australian GP bet recommendations below: Race Winner - Lewis Hamilton @ 6/5 with Marathon Bet. With the advantage I expect Mercedes to have, I am struggling to see past Lewis for this one, and am happy to take over EVS. 15 points. https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-1/australian-grand-prix/winnerTop Six Finish - Esteban Ocon @ 8/1 with multiple. The price is just too high, clearly I believe that Renault will be much further forward than the bookies do. Actually that's not entirely true because team mate Daniel Ricciardo is priced at 5/1 in this market, which is much more in line with where I would expect. Esteban should be 13/2 at worst. 5 points. https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-1/australian-grand-prix/top-6-finishPoints Finish - Esteban Ocon @ 6/4 with multiple. Again, price too high. Daniel Ricciardo is odds on. 10 points. Points Finish - Daniil Kvyat @ 9/4 with Ladbrokes and Coral. There's no reason why Alpha Tauri shouldn't be troubling the tail-end of the points this weekend, and this is a circuit where Daniil traditionally does well. He's raced here three times in his F1 career, all for Toro Rosso, and scored points on each occasion. 10 points. Points Finish - George Russell @ 25/1 with multiple. While Williams are unlikely to score points this weekend, 25/1 is absolute insanity. In 2019, that price would have made perfect sense, but they're much closer to the pack this season. Got to be worth a punt at that price. 1 point. https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-1/australian-grand-prix/points-finishI had also considered Perez to secure a podium but was expecting a better price than the 12/1 that's currently available. Rule 4? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/51849163I have never seen rule four be implemented in Motorsport before on the rare occasions that teams have not taken part as expected. The only other precedent would be the 2005 USGP where only six-cars raced. To my knowledge, all bookies settled at original prices then also. But, the event has been postponed now - although we have been waiting for official confirmation of that for a few hours now. Sporadic reports that the aussies are pressing ahead, but that majority of teams have said they wont race. Majority doesn't mean all, so could we be seeing a 05 USGP scenario again? It's a rapidly changing situation, but my understanding is that; - FIA & FOM want to pull the event, but are being held to ransom by the Government of Victoria pushing for the race to happen. It's a big legal dispute. - A non-binding, indicative only, vote was held last night (Australian time) between teams about what they wanted to do. Result was 5-5, but then the Mercedes-powered teams changed their mind to not wanting to race, leaving only Red Bull and Alpha Tauri as the teams who want to race. - Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel have already flown home. FP1 is due to start at 01:00 UK time. I think, with the stage we're at now, it would be foolish to rule out the possibility of a 2005 USGP scenario. Seems absolutely bonkers!

Not sure I'll get time for a full write-up. Potentially. There are some bets I am considering, but it's not quite the right time. Waiting for markets to shift.
Fsir enough, even a summary would be good. Love seeing how close my analysis is from yours. I don't look/have as much info as you, but I seem to have a decent eye for what's going on & absolutely love when you back up my thinking 😂

How much are you paying? If I cut mine by £25, I'd be paying nothing. Think skysports is 20, BT 5 (though it might be 10).
i have landline and broadband via sky sky q multi room 2 boxes movies netflix entertainment package and on demand basically the works although i did drop the kids part of the package £5 How did you do this? On the phone speaking to someone or through website?
i tried to do it online but as i was still under contract they only thing i was being offered was the £25 a month for 18 month contract. so i clicked on the contact us and the guy there sorted me out ended up getting a guy texting me rather than the messenger service Ok cheers, will look into this myself as well
