Would love to do it again but 30-31 Jan are probably my busiest days of the whole year, stupid time to hold a poker tournament (for me). Could not guarantee that I would be able to get all the tax returns done before 30th as there is always someone who will bring the information in on the 31st!!!!. (Needs more than one ! in the circumstances)

Got the album for my Birthday very good, my 9 year old son likes it as well, although his music preferences range from Folk, Tom Jones to Pirate Rock. (in fact I quite like the Pirate Rock Band, they are called Captain Bogg and Salty)

I believe that at one point the chief of police was considering charging him with an offence (wasting police time or something) despite him saying all the way through it was a clock. Would have loved to see what happened if a white kid had stood up and said it was theirs, would they have just gone given him a talking to and not handcuffed him etc.

In fact the handcuffs are really shocking if you look at the size of him did they think maybe he was going to try to overpower them.

Eh?  You can call yourself whatever you want on your name tag, but you can't sign off legal documents as a accountant unless you are qualified.

Best not to get into the old qualified vs unqualified accountants argument as it can take up many pages of a forum (admittedly an Accountancy forum), but they normally want you to put your letters after your name to confirm you are a qualified accountant and then I guess they can check you out at your bodies website. I've done it for a number of people and don't charge just suggest they make a charitable donation if done via work rather than for friends.

I think some form of verification makes sense as it just provides an extra albeit fairly low level of security.

The comment about drug testing made me think of Bill Werbeniuk and him having to retire because beta blockers were banned after they had already banned alcohol. I wonder what poker players would have to pack it in if alcohol and/or drugs were banned.
