Holywell is a decent price now. Bulletproof cheltenham form (won at last two festivals beating ma fielleule and the package last year) then went to aintree and utterly stuffed don cossack and many clouds at aintree over the extra furlong. Dont think the ground helps, more so because it helps a few rivals then hinders him. Hes been overjudged on his campaign which I dont think has much bearing, hes only been laid out for one race.

Never put a bet up for the thread before , ( too scared) but very sweet on one in the fox hunters . Will be watching the going reports for tomorrow
Get it up, Micky! As long as it's Paint the Clouds, or Salsify Grim thats the two im on. Was rather taken with beltors last run. Line through one puts him similar to peace and co, and the horse he beat comfortable last time ran well in the fred winter. Also very impressed the way the trainer got modus ready for the bumper and hopefully has this one whos had a much better prep is just as well tuned up. Either way looks a great days racing. Post it micky the more thoughts the better the pool of knowledge. I've got P&C as the 2nd part of a double, with those nonpaying mugs at Boyles, too. Backed Hargam on advice from Adz ages ago, and backed Beltor straight after the Adonis. Winning like that, after not settling for the whole race had to have been tough. Youd be disappointed not to have it between them. Strange ainsi fideles having a training gallop at fakenham tomorrow (2 runner race other is rated 62 vs 151 lol). Can only think its for fitness ahead of a tilt at something bigger in the coming weeks.

I think we owe Ruby a thank for letting Paul Townend almost putting Vatour on the floor around Christmas, and thus allowing us such a lovely price.
FWIW, I have been on Sybarite for this since before xmas too. GL
The date of said event for vautour doesnt bode well for a king george bet lol

Sybarite 2.05 at 20/1 seems a good bet. Hasnt been penalised for close couple of good runs where he was just coming too late/jumping denied him a shot. CD winner, won on good ground. Only bad run of the season came over brush which didnt suit.

thanks to Simon for the Southwell winner
5:05 1st4 Play Nicely (T Eaves, 10/3 joint-fav)
this is a joke right? ? No why would it be? This was aimed at me . That is fine, the reasoning for the bet was based on some speed rating website. Theres a way of saying it though mate.

Id take the two old boys (sizing europe/ somersby), if the race falls apart them two are likely to run their race. Can see a ridiculous gallop and if one of the main protagonists looms large a couple of horses may crack but these two wont. Still massive question marks about all of the top 4. Coral cup think the best two horses on price are volnay de thaix and lac fontana. volnay has the same mark as last time where he got within two lengths of ROR, if you stick that one in it would go off much shorter. Hasnt done much wrong all season. Lac fontana run like a dog last time out but did that last season in one but won at the festival last year beating arctic fire. That forms looking ok now.... thought he was gonna come get DB awell. VDT was placed aswell

With the pacemaker CF out and SE no longer guaranteed to front-run I'm not so sure that the pace will be frenetic at all, in fact I think it might turn out to be one of those tactical dawdles for a while. Special Tiara? yeah Id imagined special tiara pushed by mr mole (if it decides to start with the rest) and somersby.
