I like Cardiff on the handicap +16. Good summer business and their strong second half of the season showing last year was very promising. Usually teams that have such a strong second half do start on fire the next season, ala Scunthorpe in L1 last year.
Warnock has had a pretty great record lately with Rotherham and Cardiff, even the short spell at QPR was decent. Patchy before that and obviously last century he was on top form.
Anyway, Brentford do look like they've done top summer deals, even if Jota is sold you'd fancy their recruitment team to replace him. Losing Gray and Hogan didn't exactly stop them scoring goals last time. The mental thing is that Alan Judge was probably the best player in the Champ before his injury, if he comes back fit and firing joining the other potentially best player it's a bit mental.
Still feel like the prices are a little skinny on them though, because their are some huge budgets in the division I'd expect top 6 is a good shouts but the Handicap of +11 is disappointing. I had Huddersfield last year huge bet on about a +24 handicap and they lost out by 1 point to Brighton. Sad times.

Yeah sorry I was a little too abrasive in my post, especially for a newcomer! You know how it is defending your clubs/players/managers though.. so my apologies for the tone but the sentiment still stands!
hhyftrftdr, I'm gonna guess that's not your real name, my Uncle has your approach to it all; laps it up and loves the media meltdown re: the spending. Personally I'd still like everyone to be a bit more open-eyed to the new age of football and not get so outraged or surprised at fees that generally don't matter. Sigurdsson 50m makes perfect sense to me for as example, if Swansea sell him then it's curtains!

Pep Guardiola has spent:
€383m at Barca €195m at Bayern €459.2m at MCFC
Total = €1.037Bn
do you reckon football agents get him a hamper for xmas? offer him the odd box at the opera? tickets to ed sheeran sir?
Net spend: £138m at Barca (£34.5m per season) £65m at Bayern (£21.5m per season) In seven years between two of Europes biggest clubs he had an average net spend of £28m per season. Hardly massive is it really? Put the figures in yen if it makes you feel better though! It's more a case of City being in need of a complete squad overhaul when he arrived but I guess The Sun et all really do dictate peoples opinions.

Hi Dino i got your PM on 2+2 but I'll respond here to get this post count rising.
Sent the money and thanks for the welcoming hospitality mate. I hope Silkworms does join us again this year, I'm sure he will want his crown back and I doubt he'll ever go without Kane again!
Tikay, I'm a Man City fan as I am from Manchester of course, and yes before you all start chanting in unison, I was there when we were shit! I'll probably post around the betting forum as I do love a good bet.
Cheers guys
I'd be interested to know how you seem to get your team captain right almost every single week - serious skillz there! Some of us are just born lucky mate... I was born ginger so I guess it all evens itself out eventually!
