Not sure I like the betting patterns on this 430.......looks like Veitch may be up to something but I can't quite figure it out.  Very weird but I just don't trust the stable.

Could you expand on this for those of us that would find an explanation fascinating but really have no clue about the subject?

Conflict: you need a hard to remember password, and a different one for different sites; but there are many sites, you cannot remember them all. So you go for different ones that are easy to remember (and possible to guess/ 'brute force hack', or one difficult one and use it on all of the sites. Double epic fail.

Solution: use different passwords for different sites, but write them all down (eg on your phone). Omit to write down a common four digit string that goes on the end of all passwords.

The text you a code so you can login thing lots of sites are adding now seems a good idea.

Your data aren't as safe you think they are.
Your passwords aren't secure at all really.

just like to say redarmi brilliant read , really gonna enjoy this one, quick question for you , are you basically telling us every bet you strike on here  or are you betting on more sports, horses ect but keeping them to yourslef as your betting / punting more heavily on these bets  or are people paying you to join a service ?

I have posted every bet I have had since I started.  As I said at the start the stakes aren't correct in terms of actual cash.  My bankroll obviously isn't a grand but it works to show in principle what I am doing.  I also don't really want a bookie being able to read this and shut accounts I am using by being able to trace exact bets to me.  I am not offering a service and I have intention of doing so.  I dipped my toe in that once and, frankly, it wasn't very enjoyable at all and certainly not worth the hassle.  I am, however, getting paid to provide my views on certain football leagues so I might have to be a bit circumspect about exactly what I post on that front.

Are you worried that the bets themselves might give you away? (e.g. if every bet an account made had been posted in this thread it might be suspicious) Do you take any steps to limit that? (e.g. a mug bet every so often)

Isn't the problem getting most estate agents to sign up and competing with the big boys marketing budget?

I have a friend who's an estate agent and he didn't think it was worthwhile developing anything in that area... I was thinking of the system running all office admin as well all the websites etc too.

I think he's written a few like that...

http://www.deepcapture.com/ is a site pretty much dedicated to the same theme.

Reading it seems like every game will require PSN Pass but you get one free with the game, so the charge only really applies to those who buy second hand games.

Also forgot to mention MS have announced a load of TV content for Live today (most of which doesn't even require a paid membership) so it might be worth taking a look and seeing if you fancy any of that.

Right, MrsB also wants either a PS3 or an Xbox. We're not going to be playing bluray DVDs (We say we might but we won't).

Just need to know which has the best games. Also, don't like paying a monthly subscription for Xbox live as we'll hardly ever use it but that Kinect non-sense looks pretty cool.

What should we get.

It looks like they're doing something similar with the PS3 and charging for multiplayer, then again if you're not going to play online it doesn't matter either way.

PS3 has move which is similar to Kinect.

About the only difference I've noticed is Xbox has trials, which is a game I love, and PS3 doesn't. Personally I'd just pick up whichever is the cheapest.

What will getting the national media involved do?
The U.S. Government will probably pocket the seized funds (however much of the $400m they can get their hands on), and it will all be forgotten about in 2 months.

The power of the media is immense, and using that to keep the pressure on would give us a greater chance of getting our money back.

Who are the national media going to pressurise? I'm not sure the Americans will be that fussed at what our media think...

On that note have you thought about going to your MP? Maybe they could raise a question or something.

With price being an issue wouldn't a Skoda or one of their other cheaper brands be a better bet?

Isn't the problem for Clarke that he berated her and brought the story back into the lime light?
