agree about hargreaves, he should not have gone, complete waste of time.
Question to sven, why did u pick theo walcott?
A. Becasue he has pace!
People get in the squad on pace alone, the little white leather ball irrelevant???
Only time will time, hope it pays off, woudl rather see defeo there tho

I had just wished the claimer good luck right before this hand went down and he asked me if he should have bet the turn, and i said yes probably.
I wouldnt have just completed the SB though as I raise far too often during regular play and a half decent player would see my limp as suspicious.
Dont get caught up on the hand, just one of those things. Im not a big one for giving free cards at the business end of a tournament tho

When i play cash games i do usually buy in for the maximum but have no qualms about anyone else buying in for as little as they like and how long they stay.
Generally short stacks are poor/weak players and usually give their little bit of money to the table and leave.
I have personally experimented buying in with a Short stack and have found it profitable if played properly, wait for a good spot to double up and then leave. When you see a short stack sit at a cash table you automatically sterotype that player as weak and will try and push them around if you are involved in a pot with them. I am guilty of this myself when short stacks sit at my table and constantly see other players doing the same. You can use this stereotyping to your advantage and make some decent cash. I personally play with the max buy in as i love playing flops and the streets. But give it a try, buy in as a short stack say 1/4 of the buy in and watch people try and run you out of the pot everytime, often with them having marginal holdings

Hi, was a pleasure to meet tikay, and RED_DOG & jen (briefly) and wish tikay the best of luck as i believe he is still in
I went out with JJ vs 44, was a big call for me to make as it was for my tounament life, but me and the BB had history (he wasnt happy at how often i raised in late position) anyway i said to him: are you doing that because you think im stealing?? his mumbled repsonse prompted me to call and see my JJ was in great shape vs 44, but a 4 on the turn wad goodnight and time for the beers.
Gl agian to tikay and all remaining blondes and will try and make it to the western next weekend!

As many of you know I was selected to go to dublin this weekend and play in the VC pub mtt as original ticket winner portfolio could not make it. I was given free entry into the tournament on the basis that 50% of any winnings would go to poker4charity
Good news is i came 3rd, and the better news is i did a deal when 4 handed and locked up 4000 euros (3rd place originally 2500).
Would have liked to have won cos i got a trophy, lol but all in all a good result and 2000 euros for charity !!!!
ps. Tourny was a crapshoot, CL at start of final table = 11 BBS, everyone else between 3 -7 BB's
