fair point stu, at least by changing the prize structure the whole essence of the final table would remain intact. proper poker could be played while the risk of a slide from potentially lots of oney to very little is greatly decreased.
by the way stu, paul says heyup. and jen.
lol "a very persuasive short stack" surely this is one reason why deals shouldnt happen! the big talkers make more money without playing poker, but just by using their negotiating skills

Hey all.
I can see the point of view of the players on the deals situation, as they do not want to randomize the process by risking a potentially big win that they have workied so hard for. However, surely, the whole setup of tournament poker means anyone can get unlucky and get knocked out at any time. Therefore, why take away such a potentially thrilling end to a 2-day event by saying "actually, its more luck than anything, so we may as well call it a draw and miss out on the most exciting part for all involved"
come on guys, thats almost as lame as cricket!

Hey all.
thats genius that you talkin bout us bandits. you got it right, from our lot stu is the one to watch, tho aj did have a big result last night.
tikay, u may be right that he likes the re-raise, but there is more to his game than that. he says thanks for the warning not to play it against you!!
bandits on the rise..anyone from around birmingham watch out.
its easy poker now, as elias "good poker" katzi says

Hehe cheers Tikay told him u said that. He was gutted u spied his reraising tactic.
Thanks for taking the trouble to talk to stu..think he appreciated the confidence boost you brought when you introduced him to the table!
Unlucky in the tourney..well played to get so far. would have been very interesting if that AK had won..give u a proper chance to have a crack at Ali.
There are six of us who started learning together a year or so together hoping to give the poker scene a real crack over the next couple of years..hope stu's early success carries on so we can see u at a few more tourneys. Good luck until next time

Morning all.
Tom Rutter here...lil bro of Stu.
The most up-to-date info i have is from when we left, as Stu was busted in sixth by Ali Mallu, who had approx half of the remaining chips. He looked very confident for obvious reasons and would take something special to beat him.
